Life Update: First Year of College!

Hello guys! Welcome back to our blog! Unfortunately, neither of us have been able to blog lately, but now that it is summer we are back! I recently just finished my first year of college and I wanted to share how I felt about it:

First semester life update: here!

*My first semester was lovely, I truly enjoyed it! If you haven’t read that post then it might make sense to read it first before this one!*

My second semester of college started in mid-January and it ended just last week after finals. This semester I felt like I had a better handle on my coursework and that I could take on some side projects, I also felt like I was happier, I was less lonely, less homesick and like I was finally starting to make a lot of good friends.

My grades are still good, the classes I am taking are so interesting, and I love what I’m studying. I always make sure that schoolwork is my first priority, I want to keep my good gpa, and I am proud of myself for the work that I did this semester.

As you guys know, I also run cross country and track for my college!

Glitter Hair Trend Review

Lately the glitter hair has been very trendy on Instagram and tumblr. And I find it quite interesting that it is a trend.
Now this isn’t to bash on the trend, but glitter is literally the herpes of crafts. Once you use it…ITS EVERYWHERE! and not even a nuclear bomb could get it off.

And when it comes to hair, I wouldn’t put glitter ANYWHERE near it! Because when you apply it to your roots, you’re not going to ever get it out of your roots.

Its like tattoing your roots. But glitter. Which I don’t really understand.

Butter London Glazen Eye Gloss Review and Swatches

So many of you guys expressed interest in this in my november favorites! I love this product and for some of you who were on the fence about buying it hopefully this review and information will help you to make a decision.

The promise: this eyeshadow delivers wet look shine as a powder. It has a pudding like texture but dries instantly to a powder on your lid. Lasts all day, is crease resistant, build able and long wearing.

Price point: at $24 it is definitely considered a high end product.

Favorite Dark Lipsticks for Winter!

Hi everyone! Thanks for reading and welcome back to our blog! Today I’m going to be talking about four of my favorite darker lipsticks for the wintertime. These are a variety of finishes, matte, glossy and satin so there is certainly something for everyone. I just realized that literally every post I’ve done for the past month is about lipsticks, I’ll be mixing it up in a bit I promise!

NYX has some of my favorite lip products! this is a gorgeous deep plum shade, almost black. Its so stunning and not drying at all on your lips even though it is matte. For anyone who wants super dramatic dark lips I definitely recommend this!

Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lipcolor Review

Hi everyone! Welcome back to our blog! I recently had a ton of inspiration and Thursday posts will probably be happening a bit more often. It’s so exciting to be writing to nearly 300 of you guys oh my gosh. Today I’m going to be reviewing the Revlon ultra HD matte lip color. Unless you all have not been on Instagram lately you’ve probably seen it everywhere!  This is the shade Addiction, a gorgeous pink berry shade. I was excited to get my hands on it initially, let’s see how well it upholds its promise.

Promises: velvety matte color and finish, moisturizing,  and lightweight.
