Top 3 Cream/Liquid Highlighters

Hi guys! I love doing these Top 3 sorts of posts and you guys seem to like them too so I wanted to do one on cream highlighting. For me, because my skin is more dry I find that cream/liquid highlights don’t emphasize texture and go on more naturally than powder so I love them and I wanted to share my favorites!

1. It Cosmetics Hello Light Creme Luminizer Stick

This gives such a subtle and lovely glow from within that I absolutely adore. Whenever I want a subtler highlight I always use this because it is so blendable and catches the light slightly. It will not move around your foundation and is not glittery at all so if you do have more mature skin I think you might really like this. If you are oily though I would pass on this, it might make you look greasy!

5 Favorite Nude Lipsticks for Everyday

Hello everyone! Welcome back to our blog and thank you all so much for reading. I love nude lipsticks and I’m sure a ton of you guys do too. These are my favorite ones that I rotate through on a daily basis for everyday makeup, or a natural look.

1. Butter London Bloody Brilliant Lip Crayon in Teddy Boy

This is a recent and new favorite of mine, its the perfect my lips but better shade and is so so pigmented. The formula is so smooth and soft that I’ve forgotten that I’m wearing it sometimes. The finish is satiny!

2.  Laura Geller Lipstick in Dolce

Exciting Makeup Haul from my Birthday!

Hello everyone! So a few days ago it was my birthday and I got loads of gifts from friends and family which I’m all very thankful for! I’m going to show you all what I got makeup wise, as I’ll be doing reviews on most of these products and I want you all to see what new things I’ll be working with.

Smashbox:

Photofinish lash primer –  im really excited to see how this affects how long my lashes look  when I wear mascara and if it’s worth the money.

Photofinish hydrating under eye primer – hopefully this stops my undereye concealer creases, it will be a holy grail and lifesaver if it does.

Full exposure mascara – this is one of those cult favorites i’ve seen on youtube so I’m super excited to try it and it will most definitely be in a review for you guys!

Hello everyone! Welcome back to our blog and I hope you all are having a great day. Today I’m going to share my favorite cream blushes with you guys that are build able and wearable for everyday.

1. Laura Geller Air Whipped Blush in Whisper Peach

The consistency of this is so fluffy and light that it blends into your skin so beautifully. It looks incredibly natural and you can build up the pigment to the level that you want. This peachy shade is perfect for fair skin, but I absolutely would recommend this formula to anyone.

5 Favorite Lipsticks for Spring

Hello everyone! It’s finally starting to warm up, and I’m very excited that it will officially be spring in a few weeks! Today I’m going to show you my favorite lipsticks/glosses for this time of year, I’m excited to wear all of these and finally not be freezing cold anymore!

1. Milani coral crush lip gloss

This is a beautiful subtle coral gloss which I love because it is super creamy and not sticky at all. This is perfect for a sheer wash of color that is natural looking and is the perfect place to start if you want to start with coral lipstick!

2.Milani lipstick in hot pink rage

This is a bright fuschia pink which I think would look amazing almost everyone. This is wearable but yet still fun, and has a matte finish. I’ve been pairing this with simple brown eyeshadow for a fresh-faced look.

3. Butter London Lippy liquid lipstick in tickled pink

Another gloss! This is super baby pink, but I love it because it is flattering and has good color payoff. Again, it isn’t sticky, but is pretty long wearing for a gloss and I absolutely love this shade!

4. Lancôme lipstick in The New Pink

This is stunning! I’ve been wearing this almost every day. It has a foiled/sheen finish and is a really warm pink. It looks so flattering and stunning on fair skin and isn’t too much, it would be a perfect nudey/pink on tan or darker skin and I love this formula.

5. too faced lipstick in Mean Girls

This is kind of out there! The name is completely accurate, it is a metallic hot pink that surprisingly looks great on the lips. It’s creamy, not gritty, longwearing  and also has great color payoff so I definitely recommend this!

Swatch party!

Happy spring everyone! I hope you enjoyed this post and thank you so much for reading! leave me a comment down below telling me your favorite bright/springy lipstick, I would love to try out some of your guys’s recommendations. For this month we will only be posting on Mondays and Thursdays again since we are both becoming super busy! Hope you guys don’t mind!

My Simple Everyday Makeup Routine

Hello everyone! Today I wanted to show you the everyday makeup look that I do most days when getting ready for school. This is nothing too fancy, school is not really the place for a crazy smokey eye or dramatic wing liner. This only takes me about 15 minutes total.

Face:

This pur powder foundation is really natural and evens out my skin tone well, and I just apply it with a big kabuki brush. The Alba botanica concealer for getting rid of dark circles has been one of my favorites, it really makes them disappear and is peachy yellow toned. For small spot concealing my favorite is this dr. Haushka concealer in shade one.

Blush contour highlight:

To contour I love my profusion palette, (review here) and then I go in with the wisteria blush from becca. This is a stunning pinky purple toned shade which is really light and it looks gorgeous on fair skin in general. For highlight I use a combo of the lightest pink and white toned highlights in this bellapierre  glowing palette. Review here!

Christmas Haul Update

Hello everyone! Welcome back to our blog! Now that it is a month later I thought I would give you an update on almost everything that I got for Christmas! If you haven’t read that post, definitely check it out here so you can see what I’ll be talking about today! *This will be long, so I split it into sections so you can skip around.*

Mascara:

Urban Decay Perversion Mascara – I like this a lot but I am not in love. I love how much volume it gives but you have to be extremely careful not to get too much product out, it can get gloppy fast.

jane iredale Longest Lash mascara – love! I use this everyday in my mascara routine. It lengthens your lashes beautifully and it can be used in its own for a natural look.

Butter London Double Decker Lashes mascara – WOAH VOLUME! I’m actually super impressed and I love this. To be honest I have been reaching for this more than my Tarteist mascara!

Bobbi brown No smudge mascara – this is an amazing amazing mascara for the lower lashes because it doesn’t budge all day!
Bobbi brown Smokey eye mascara – I love the volume that this gives but I think you could easily find something from the drugstore that works just as well!

Eyeliner:

Butter London Glazen Eye Gloss Review and Swatches

So many of you guys expressed interest in this in my november favorites! I love this product and for some of you who were on the fence about buying it hopefully this review and information will help you to make a decision.

The promise: this eyeshadow delivers wet look shine as a powder. It has a pudding like texture but dries instantly to a powder on your lid. Lasts all day, is crease resistant, build able and long wearing.

Price point: at $24 it is definitely considered a high end product. Continue reading “Butter London Glazen Eye Gloss Review and Swatches”
