Maybelline Age Rewind Stick

Hello my lovelies! I am so sorry for the lack of posting on my half, I’ve been going through a lot of family and self issues that have taken away from my availability to post.

But I am back and ready to rumble!

Today I will be posting my review on Maybelline’s age rewind stick.

Like any high schooler I’ve developed pretty bad dark circles under my eyes. Sometimes concelor will cover it up, but sometimes it doesn’t and it takes away from the look when you can’t cover up dem dark circles!

My friend uses this stick and recommended it to me, so the next day I went out to the drug stone and bought it.

There were two “sizes” at the drugstore, one was a skinny stick and the other was a fatter one. To me that was the only difference, they were the same height.

I went with the skinny stick to test it out (even though it didn’t matter!)

I was amazed when I tested it out with a full face of makeup! Boy did it cover up my dark circles like it wasn’t anyone’s business! I was a bit tongue tied after putting it on.

What I’ve been doing hence far is after I apply the age rewind I will put on my normal concelor to even Bette the effect.

The age rewind is light yet has a lot of pigment, perfect for covering up.

My only issue with this product was that I couldn’t open it up and simply slap it on, I had to twist the cap for a good 2 minuets before any product came out. I have to redo this about every other day.

Other than that I really loved this product! Defiantly will re buy when it goes out!

Ta ta my loves!

Comment down below the most recent emoji you’ve used, and if you have the age rewind stick, do you like it?

Summer Project Pan Halfway Update!

Hi guys! This is my halfway update for my seasonal project pan which will be ending in late september. I have a few makeup items I am attempting to use up and I am excited to share my progress with you guys!

What I have finished:

EOS lip balm – was okay, would not repurchase because it isn’t cruelty free!

Neutrogena Cream Cleanser – this is amazing! Definitely recommend to you guys if you are able to buy it, but it isn’t cruelty free so I won’t repurchase

Progress!

Update On Becoming Cruelty Free

Hello everyone and welcome back to our blog! If you’ve been following for a while, you know that I’ve been trying to only use products that are not tested on animals and made that resolution in January. Now six months in I want to update you guys on what I still have left to use up. I’ve done a lot more research and discovered companies that I thought were cruelty free actually are not!

I am still passionate about the cause! I have gotten rid of 23 products that aren’t cruelty free, next, after my makeup is cruelty free I will move onto skin care and then hair care as well. I’m finding dupes for what I have left that isn’t cruelty free so that when they are finished I will still have comparable products

in total: 12 makeup products, 1 lip balm

Face makeup:

Benefit Dallas Bronzer – found a dupe from butter London

Rimmel Match Perfection Concealer – Dupe is the Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer, this is about 1/4 gone.

Loreal Lumi – Half gone! Dupe is NYX illuminator

Benefit High Beam – 1/4 gone, dupe is also from NYX

Lipsticks:

1st Project Pan – Through Spring!

Hello everyone! I have never done a project pan before, which seems crazy because I feel like all around me, everyone is doing them! I decided to hop on the train, these products are what I plan to use up by the end of May or at least make some progress on them, since I never use up anything.

Lipsticks:

I have two I am planning to make progress on. The nude lipstick by Laura Geller is almost empty and I am hoping to finish it off soon. The maybelline lipstick in pink pop isn’t cruelty free and I would love to finish that and be one step closer to cruelty free!

3 Favorite Mascaras for Volumizing

Hello everyone and welcome back to our blog! Today I’m going to be talking about one of my favorite beauty products ever: mascara. Here are my three favorite mascaras for volumizing that I tend to use on a rotation. I do have one drugstore option for you all, which is absolutely amazing!

1. Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara

This tube is so iconic, I bet you all have heard hundreds of beauty bloggers rave about it. Their hype is completely real, this mascara gives your lashes thick black volume, and it stays on completely all day. I haven’t had any problems with smudging and it gives such a nice thickening effect. It is also easy to remove with oil based remover.

2. Urban Decay Perversion Mascara

Five Products Youtube Made Me Buy

Hi everyone! Welcome back to our blog, and welcome if you are new here! Today I’m going to be talking about five makeup items that I would have not bought without the YouTube beauty community! I’m sure everyone who loves makeup has run out and bought the product that their favorite youtuber or blogger is loving, I am completely guilty!

Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara

This mascara was used by so many of my favorite beauty bloggers and I finally had to buy it! I’m glad to say that I think it was worth the hype, it is a great mascara, especially for its price. It makes your lashes really full and also grabs the small ones on the outer corners of your eyes.
Benefit High Beam highlighter
