Summer Project Pan Halfway Update!

Hi guys! This is my halfway update for my seasonal project pan which will be ending in late september. I have a few makeup items I am attempting to use up and I am excited to share my progress with you guys!

What I have finished:

EOS lip balm – was okay, would not repurchase because it isn’t cruelty free!

Neutrogena Cream Cleanser – this is amazing! Definitely recommend to you guys if you are able to buy it, but it isn’t cruelty free so I won’t repurchase

Progress!

Going Cruelty-Free – Skincare, Haircare, Perfume + Misc

Hello guys! I have almost made my makeup collection cruelty free and I started picking out which other products I need to use up. I am happy to report that my nail polish is 100% cruelty free, but my skincare and haircare are not there yet! Today I’m going to show you what I have left to use up and it actually isn’t very much which is exciting for me!

Skincare:

Lancome Bi-Facil Makeup remover – This is a deluxe sample and it is almost gone. I have another from Florane (cruelty free) to try next.

Elizabeth Arden Let There Be Light – I found a dupe from ELF that I will buy instead once I finish it, it’s about 3/4 gone!

Haircare:

Hair One Hair Conditioner – This is HG of mine and also a gray area. I couldn’t find evidence that it is cruelty free and I also could not find evidence that it isn’t. Until I’m sure I am going to count it as not cruelty free!

Perfume:

Summer Project Pan!

Hi everyone and welcome back to our blog! I am loving project panning so I am definitely going to be doing another one for sure. I picked 10 products this time, but only six are makeup (mostly newish too) so I think I should be able to get through most of the products (certainly will get through the skincare ones).

Skincare:

Juice beauty face mask – This has been open for almost two years and I don’t want it to go bad, I love it so I want to finish it.

Neuotrogena purifying cream cleanser – I absolutely love this but it has been open for a long time and I also have a cruelty free face wash that I am in love with so I want to use this up!

Tarte maracuja oil – this expires in September and is nowhere near done! I love it so I want to finish it and repurchase. Continue reading “Summer Project Pan!”

5 Favorite Lipsticks for Spring

Hello everyone! It’s finally starting to warm up, and I’m very excited that it will officially be spring in a few weeks! Today I’m going to show you my favorite lipsticks/glosses for this time of year, I’m excited to wear all of these and finally not be freezing cold anymore!

1. Milani coral crush lip gloss

This is a beautiful subtle coral gloss which I love because it is super creamy and not sticky at all. This is perfect for a sheer wash of color that is natural looking and is the perfect place to start if you want to start with coral lipstick!

2.Milani lipstick in hot pink rage

This is a bright fuschia pink which I think would look amazing almost everyone. This is wearable but yet still fun, and has a matte finish. I’ve been pairing this with simple brown eyeshadow for a fresh-faced look.

3. Butter London Lippy liquid lipstick in tickled pink

Another gloss! This is super baby pink, but I love it because it is flattering and has good color payoff. Again, it isn’t sticky, but is pretty long wearing for a gloss and I absolutely love this shade!

4. Lancôme lipstick in The New Pink

This is stunning! I’ve been wearing this almost every day. It has a foiled/sheen finish and is a really warm pink. It looks so flattering and stunning on fair skin and isn’t too much, it would be a perfect nudey/pink on tan or darker skin and I love this formula.

5. too faced lipstick in Mean Girls

This is kind of out there! The name is completely accurate, it is a metallic hot pink that surprisingly looks great on the lips. It’s creamy, not gritty, longwearing  and also has great color payoff so I definitely recommend this!

Swatch party!

Happy spring everyone! I hope you enjoyed this post and thank you so much for reading! leave me a comment down below telling me your favorite bright/springy lipstick, I would love to try out some of your guys’s recommendations. For this month we will only be posting on Mondays and Thursdays again since we are both becoming super busy! Hope you guys don’t mind!
