Mini Skincare Haul!

Hello guys! Welcome back to our blog. Today I want to share a little skincare haul of some items that I have picked up or been gifted for my birthday last month so lets get into it:

SheaMoisture Daily Hydration Face Milk Cleanser

This looks like a super hydrating face wash and I am so excited to try it. I love all the shea moisture products that I have tried so I am sure this will be the same great quality. It has organic raw shea butter, coconut milk and acacia senegal so I think it will be a lovely cleanser for my dry skin!

SheaMoisture Coconut and Hibiscus Radiance Serum 

I can’t wait to try this serum because I think it will definitely make my skin glow! The ingredients are supposedly really good for brightening dull skin so I definitely want to try this out, let me know if you guys want a review on it!

Beauticell Revive Rosehip Oil

This is a very good quality, high end oil serum and I think it is supposed to be used as a serum and it has some really nice ingredients in it like sea buckthorn oil and vitamin E so I definitely want to try it out. I also feel like I could use this as an oil cleanser to take off my makeup so I will do some experimenting.

Spascriptions Metallic Mask Set

This set comes with three masks and they are all sparkly with different ingredients. I think this is so fun and I cannot wait to mask with these and see if they actually make a difference in my skin. The green mask is supposed to be nourishing, the white one is supposed to be calming and then the blue one is supposed to be pore-minimizing.

Anastasia Matte Lipstick Set Review + Swatches

Hello guys! Welcome back to our blog. Today I want to review for you the Anastasia Matte lipsticks that I’ve tried in this set and I actually really enjoy. This post will include swatches of all four as well.

Overview:

• This kit is discontinued I believe, but I found mine at Marshalls for $14
• cruelty free!
• Contains four mini lipsticks in varying shades of pink from Anastasia’s matte lipstick line.
• Orchid, Cotton Candy, Stargazer, Plumeria are the shades included and they are all available in the full size.

Promise: Anastasia Beverly Hills Matte Lipsticks are full pigment lip color with a smooth, ultra-matte finish. (From the Anastasia Website)

These definitely have an ultra matte finish, they look like you’ve applied a super matte liquid lip, but they are not nearly as drying. My only complaint with these is that this formula is not super creamy and smooth, it almost feels like you’re applying a powder/cream lipstick, it won’t glide across your lips cleanly. With a little bit of patience you can build them up to a gorgeous gorgeous matte finish though. They are comfortable, not drying at all and they are pretty long wearing.

New Beauty Product Haul – Part 2

Hello guys! Welcome back to part 2 of my massive beauty product haul from my own purchases and from Christmas. Part one will be linked here, and it was all makeup, this will be skincare and haircare and body care!

Skincare:

Kiehls Ultra Facial Cleanser – I know this is not cruelty free, but it was a gift so I will use it up! I am excited to try this face cleanser out.

Pacifica Kale Detox Deep Cleansing Face Wash – I love pacifica products and this face wash looks lovely. I hope that it works out and I am excited to test it out.

Pixi Glow Tonic Exfoliating Toner – This toner is literally famous and I’ve always wanted to try it! Since my skin needs some serious brightening help I am going to try this out since everyone has said it makes your skin glow.

Massive Makeup Haul!

Hello guys! Welcome back to our blog. Happy New Year, and happy holidays! Today I wanted to share a haul of makeup I’ve bought myself and some that I’ve gotten for Christmas. Let’s jump into it:

Makeup:

Becca First Light priming filter –

I have been using the deluxe sample of this for so long and I love it. I’m so happy to now have the full size to go through because this is my hydrating primer holy grail.

It cosmetics Hello Light Creme Luminizer – 

I finished my old one and this is a repurchase! I love this cream highlight and it is so pretty on my skin. It is easy to work with and I am excited to go through this new one.

Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Champagne Pop –

I’ve never tried any of Becca’s skin perfectors, so I’m so excited to try this. This is too deep on me as a highlighter but I think it would look gorgeous as an eyeshadow!

Bobbi Brown Deluxe eye and cheek palette –

This was an incredibly generous gift from a family friend. I love bobbi brown products (I wish they were cruelty free). But I am excited to use this because I’m sure it is good quality and I like that it is an all-in-one.

Skincare and Haircare Haul!

Hello guys! Welcome back to our blog! Recently I’ve been shopping quite a bit, just stocking up on some categories of products before I leave for college, so here is what I picked up:

Skincare:

Derma – e Hydrating Night Cream – I’ve seen this brand all over instagram and so I decided to test out this eye cream. I swatched it in store, and it feels lovely and I can’t wait to use in on my eyes!

Derma – e Hydrating Eye Cream – This night cream has hyaluronic acid in it and I know that my skin absolutely loves that ingredient! It drinks it up and I get great results so I’m excited to try this out.

Sonage Remedy Relief Balancing Mask – This was on clearance so I picked it up! It also promised to remove impurities and shrink pores, so I was very intrigued!

Essano Rosehip Mist Toner – This is also a brand I’d seen on instagram! I love spray toners during hot weather and I also love rose, so I am sure I’m going to love this!

Haircare:

Alba Botanica Hawaiian Marula Miracle Shampoo – This shampoo seemed so gentle so I picked it up because if a shampoo is too harsh, it really makes a difference in how my curls look. Definitely excited to test it out!

July Ipsy Bag!

Hello my lovelies!!! Unfortunately July has come to an end…but you know what that means!! Ipsy bag time!

I really liked this months bag because it had a mix of makeup and then like skinish care stuff. Now I say ish because most people don’t classify lip balm and skin care!

• The Balm Nude Eyeshadow

• Now a few months back I got this brand’s highlighter and I loved it! It was very pigmented and just the perfect shade of highlight for me so I was super excited to get this.
• I absolutely love this shade, it blends really well and can go with about any warm colors.
• 
• Steve Laurant Blush
• 
• To begin with I love love love the rose gold packaging. I think it’s really aesthetically pleasing. I was a little bummed to get blush because I don’t really use blush. I still don’t really use blush, so if Hailey wants this she can have it! It wasn’t a bad blush, very natural pigment, it’s just I’m not a huge fan.
• 
• H2O+ Oasis Ultra Hydrating hand cream
• 
• I also really like how aesthetically pleasing this tube is! Plus I really like it because of the term h2O because it makes me think of my FAVORITE childhood show called h2O just add water! (Like if you’ve ever watched that!) the consistency is a little watery, but not so much that it takes away from the hydrating. I wouldn’t say it ULTRA hydrating because I have to re-apply so much, but when I use it on my face it really does keep my face hydrated.
• Mellow pink lipstick
• 
• I heard that this morning as a fairly new brand coming out, so I was super excited to get my hands on their lipstick. I love how the tube is rounded kinda like a MAC lipstick. As I said in my NYX lipstick review, i have recently been getting into brighter shades lately,
• 
• so I was even more excited to find out that it was a bright pink shade! I absolutely love it. It has a semi long last, I have to re-apply about every 6 hours, but other than that I have nothing negative to say!
• Bkr Paris water lip balm
• 
• When I opened this up, I was blown away from the way the packaging looked. I really liked how they packaged it. The lip balm itself looked super aesthetically appealing too soooo!!!
• 
• What I really like about this is not only does it hydrate my lips perfectly, but it gives that super watery look that’s so in right now. So I love it!

Drugstore Beauty Haul!

Hello guys! I recently went shopping with Christine at our local drugstore/health food store and picked up quite a few things, so lets get into it:

Makeup:

NYX butter gloss in Angel Food Cake – 

This was a repurchase because I actually ran out of my NYX angel food cake gloss so I needed a new one! I’m excited to crack this open and use it.

LA colors moisturizing Shea Butter lip gloss in clear –I picked this up because I wanted a clear gloss to put over my matte lipsticks. This gloss feels so nice, and it is so thick and high quality for only being $2. I’ve only worn it a couple times, but already the letters have rubbed off which is strange!

ELF moisturizing lip oil in the shade Pink Kiss –I didn’t know Elf had lip oils so I was excited to try them out. I picked up this gorgeous mauvey pink shade, it looks like its right up my alley!

Skincare/Bodycare:

Weleda Almond Sensitive Skin body wash – I needed a new body wash to take with me to college so I picked this up.  I’m excited to try it out!

Charcoal teeth whitener

Hello lovelies! Now if you’re like me, you’ve probably noticed these little teeth whitened popping up on YouTube and Instagram lately. Like my usual self I have always been curious to try new and interesting things.

The charcoal teeth whiteners have been on my list for awhile! So when I went to Marshall’s and found this for $6 I was sold instantly. Now I will note it did not come with a tooth brush like most of this do, but luckily I had some extra.

After my first use, I found that the powder is magic because somehow it gets EVERYWHERE. so I would recommend you do it over a skin or in your shower, the charcoal itself looks really cool as your brushing it, I kinda feel like a pirate with gross looking black teeth. And it does feel very grainy as your brushing your teeth as well as after.

After use I would recommend swishing some water or mouth wash because there do tend to be little black specks left on your teeth right after use.

As for results you can see a slight change after the first use, but for best results I would use for a week.

The container says you could use this as a substitute for toothpaste, Which I mean you totally could, but if you’re like me, who likes minty fresh breath, I would use this charcoal Whitener first, and then right after brush your teeth with your normal toothpaste!

Beauty Counter Products Review

Hello my lovelies! It’s been awhile I know! I’ve been going through some stuff and have been super busy with work lately that I haven’t been able to blog much! Alas I am back and ready to RUMBLE!!!

So a few months ago Hailey and I found this Instagramer ( shout out to @betterbeauty101 follow her on insta!) who was giving out free Beauty Counter Face serums. Wanting to try this out we hopped on board! The sample size came with four serums. Rejuvenating face cleanser, Rejuvenating radiance Serum, Rejuvenating day cream, and Rejuvenating night cream. As you could probably tell by their names, the purpose for these serums is to Rejuvenate your skin. And you best believe with all the stress this girls been going through, she needs herself some rejuvenation!

Rejuvenating face cleanser:

I used this cleanser after I washed my face for the night. What I really like about this cleanser is it makes me feel so refreshed afterwards. Doing this after washing my face with my witch-hazel feels so Gucci! Since I do this at night, its refreshing-ness really helps put me in the going to bed mood. I also really like how you can really feel it cleansing out your face.

Rejuvenating Radiance Serum:

Hello guys! Welcome back to our blog! I recently went shopping, and I may have picked up a few new products to try, but I swear I needed most of them!

Milani Make It Last setting spray –

I’m so excited to try this, I have never really used a setting spray, usually I just use face mists, so I hope that this really helps my makeup last a long time in the warm summer weather!

NYX worth the hype mascara –

I’ve read a lot of meh reviews on this so I decided to pick this up and try it myself. I really hope that I love it because it is so affordable!
