Airspun loose face powder review

Hello my lovlies! Im back with another beauty blog…duh! It would be a little weird if i was doing a video game review or something…

Today i will be review Airspun loose face powder. I’ve heard so much about this face powder that i’ve wanted to try it out for so long. The only issue i had was no matter where i looked, i couldnt find this powder anywhere. I searched high and low in every drug store with no luck. Next i searched Target and found nothing there.

Then the day came, the faitful day where i would find the much awaited Airspun loose face powder. I had to get some shots for college at my local walgreens, now here is a little fact about me…your girl HATES shots. The mere thought of getting a shot, or being around a needle terrifies me so bad. Usually i have my mom come with me, and yes im a nineteen girl and i still need my mom to come with me when i get shots. BUT THIS TIME SHE SAID SHE WOULDNT COME WITH ME…brat…Just kidding i love my mom and i understood how i needed to grow up. ANYWAY, before getting the shots, to relieve some anxiety, i decided to walk around the store. And somehow i came upon the cosmetic section…its really funny how thats the first thing i came across. Being the beauty holic i am, i looked around the beauty section, and then i found it, the loose powder that i have been trying to find for years. It was $9 and SUCH A STEAL.

Airspun Loose Face Powder:

Details:

  • Round continer
  • Holes to help filter out powder
  • Orange lip with some time of flower (?) on it
  • Little puff applicator

Pros:

  • Smells AMAZING, very soft sent, like baby powder
  • Very easy application, if you apply with a beauty blender you wont make a big mess
  • Long lasting
  • gives finished look

Cons:

none

All in all i give this product a 10/10 because i really feel this product gives your concealor and under eye area a creasless look, which im totally for. I also am a huge fan of the smell. For some weird reason it reminds me of a new born baby, which i totally 100% love. Im a huge fan of vintage things, and i guess you could consider this product vintage because it was made in 1935. I know i know the product that im using wasnt made in 1935, but the company was, which i really find interesting, because with other vintage companies like Revlon, Maybelline, and L’Oreal they are well known. Most people have heard of these brands, and its because of how well known their brands are that their name has survived so long, but the fact that this brand isnt very well known, and it is still surviving is truly amazing to me.

Thats it for todays blog!

If you a havent, comment down below if you love that new born baby smell!

Wet N Wild product review!

Hello my lovelies! I can’t believe it’s already August! How is everyone feeling about that? I’m excited. Today I move down to Texas!! Comment down below if you’re in Texas…and what it’s like down there because it’s very different from where I used to live!

Okay let’s get into today’s blog. I will be reviewing some Wet N Wild products. I would like to say I really like how affordable Wet N Wild products are, and how cute a lot of their products are packaged. Not to mention they’re cruelty free!

Wet N Wild Velvet Matte Lip Color:

Now I’m going in order of what I bought. I bought this lipstick first. What drew me to this product was it’s matte looking packaging. The orange is a bit softer and more matte looking than a normal orange lipstick would look. I thought that this was how the product would look like on, considering it says Velvet Matte. Unfortunately I was mistaken. It was more of a cream, and the color was hardly visible on my lips.

I wasn’t excited to try the rest of these products after trying this. I didn’t pike how the product wasn’t very creamy, wasn’t very Mattifying, nor was it Velvety. The cap would also not stay on, so it broke and I threw it away.

Wet N Wild photofocus foundation:

What drew me to this product was all the hype I was seeing online about it. Everyone was saying how great it was, so I wanted to try out for myself. I was really pleased with what I got. I really like how it comes with a paddled applicator

This paddled applicator made it glide on easily. I would say the coverage for this foundation is a medium to full. If you want it to look more full you can always apply another layer. When I applied two layers (just to see what it would look like), I noticed it didn’t look very cakey which I liked. The only thing I didn’t like about this product was how it was slightly too dark for my skin tone. Which wasn’t the products fault, but my own.

Photo Focus Matte Face Primer:

Boy does this product really work. I like how thin the primer is, a little can go a long way with this one which I like since the packaging is sorta small. This product mattifys very quickly I find out, and once it’s sunk in, it’s rather difficult to blend out. So I suggest when putting on foundation, put it on in sections! Other than that I really like the product!

Wet N Wild Concealor:

I really liked how well this concealer partnered with the photo focus foundation. It blends easily and had a semi full coverage.

Eyeshadow Pallet:

I was drawn to this product because of it assortment of colors. I really liked how they all worked together and how pigmented they were.

I also really like how you can easily use these for a day out or a night out. I’ve never tried their eyeshadows and I am pleasantly surprised by how much I like them!

That’s it for today’s blog!

Comment down below what your favorite Wet N Wild product is!

Becca First Light Priming Filter Primer Review

Hello guys! Welcome back to our blog, today I want to review this primer that I bought a while ago but I’ve recently started using it!

Overview:

  • Price: $38 for the full size, $18 for the deluxe size (what I have)
  • Cruelty free!

Promise: Your new-pick-me up, a lavender hued priming filter powered by luminescence that preps, perks & perfects the complexion. (From the back of the tube)

I really think that this primer is nice! I have normal skin and this just gives very lightweight hydration, just enough to make my skin hydrated and dewy. I also love that this doesn’t have a lot of shimmer or glitter in it because a lot of dewy primers are full of that shimmer and it makes your skin look artificial.

This primer has a light nice texture just like a moisturizer and gives your skin enough of a perfecting Continue reading “Becca First Light Priming Filter Primer Review”

Coming Together to Make A Difference for NARS Cosmetics!

Hi guys! Welcome back to our blog. I know we’ve been posting a lot but this post is pretty time sensitive! If you were looking for a makeup post, one will be up Thursday like normal so don’t worry!

I am sure most of you know by now that NARS is no longer considered a cruelty free brand. If you have been anywhere on social media beauty bloggers everywhere (including me) are freaking out about it. They’ve made the decision to sell in China which includes mandatory animal testing, which is really sad!

*not my photo, owner’s link is in the caption*

This beauty is not my picture! The owner’s blog: Click here!

But there is an upside, NARS has not entered the Chinese market yet (plan to sometime in 2017), which means we still have some time to convince them not to. And I get it, sometimes these big companies seem so untouchable. And they probably wouldn’t listen  if it was two or three people asking them to remain cruelty free. But if theres two or three thousand of us asking then maybe it would be a different story.

At first I felt so powerless and then I realized that I can actually do something, I have all of you guys! And all of you run blogs and can do something too! We can make such a huge difference together. Continue reading “Coming Together to Make A Difference for NARS Cosmetics!”
