Almay liquid liner in black

Hello loves!! Thank you for joining us for yet another fun blog! A quick thanks to all who have been following our blogs lately, and if youre new WELCOME we love you!

Now for those who have been following our blogs for awhile know that i have a slight obsession with lipsticks. Its such a problem! My second obsession though if definitley eyeliner. I am always on the hunt for the best eyeliner. One thats water proof, smudge proof and long lasting. And im always eager to try out brands that ive never heard of. ALMAY being one of them!

Now this retails for about $6 or $7 which is pretty affordable for an eyeliner. Now it doesnt look like you can purchase it from their website, but i do know you can get it at Walmart or Ulta!

Now what does this promise?

Get beautiful definition with this easy-to-use liquid eyeliner. Water-resistant formula lasts up to 16 hours without irritation. Unique “inkwell” design delivers fresh color every time. Flex-tip applicator provides mistake-proof control.

Thats what this eyeliner is supposed to do, now lets take it step by step.

Did it give me beautiful definition?

Fairly good, the tip was very fine which did make for a more precise application, but i will say it gave of a very liquidy consistancy even after shaking before using. It was kind of like if i were to use black water color as eyeliner, which i wasnt a huge fan of for wings. For a more natural look without wings it was okay.

Is it water resistant?

I will say i was shocked to find that it was water resistant. If i lay down, there is always one eye that gets really watery. I have no idea why, but laying down after doing my makeup is always risky because of it and i dont know how many times ive ruined my eyeliner by it. Thankfully when i used this product, although i dont like the water color looking wings it gave me, it did last through my leaky eyes.

16hr and no irritation?

I will say it lasted for about 9hrs, at least thats how long i was wearing the product for. I have no doubt that it would definitley have lasted longer if i had worn it. As for irritation it did make my eyes itch a bit when i drew one some wings, but if i didnt add wings there was no irritation.

Mistake proof control?

Ladies we’ve all been there before, those bad eyeliner days where the tip decides to like go crazy? So much for straight wings right?I will say that the tip is rather flexible and the times i have used this eyeliner, i have yet to muff anything up.

Now is it my favorite eyeliner in the whole entire world? No, it just personally isnt the type that i like. If it was a thicker/ darker more matte consistancy i think it would totally be a must have. Alas it is not, but i do like to use this product when im do lazy to go all out and want a more natural look.

Thats it for todays blog!

Comment down below what your favorite eyeliners are!

ItCosmetics Liner Love Waterproof Anti-Aging Creme Gel Eyeliner

Hello guys! The last couple of months I have been testing out this eyeliner in the creme eyeliner pot version, I have had the gel pencil before and loved it and emptied it, lets get into the review:

img_5508
Overview:

  • $24
  • Cruelty free!
  • 6 shades, 3.5g of product

Promise: Liner Love™ Waterproof Anti-Aging Crème Gel Eyeliner is an innovative formula designed to lay down eye-enhancing, saturated, rich color!! Developed with leading plastic surgeons, it’s infused with lash-loving ingredients, such as peptides, collagen, and vitamin serums. These highly pigmented colors are clinically shown waterproof, even after 12 hours of wear.

So that is a ton of promises! I personally have fallen in love with this product! It is so pigmented and so black, lays down color so smoothly and will last all day. This lasts in the waterline longer than any other eyeliner I have tried, it lasts about five to six hours easily without fading the tiniest bit. It is super easy to apply.

I have used up the pencil version of this liner and personally I find the two formulas very similar, it just comes down to what you like working with.

Big Makeup/Vanity Declutter!

Hello guys! I feel like it hasn’t been that long since I went through my collection but there was just some stuff in there that I needed to get rid of.

Makeup:

Tarte Brow Toolbox – I never use this because the shades are too brown for me, but I think Christine might love it so i’m going to gift it to her.

Laura Geller Lipstick in Berry – I don’t feel like berry lips suit me very well anymore so I’m getting rid of this one.

Jane Iredale lip stain in the shade forever peach – I liked this at first but I don’t think the bright coral orange color suits me well when I have red hair.

W3ll people Bio Brightening Invisible Powder – I somehow ended up with two so I’m going to give away this one.

Too Faced La Creme Lipstick in Mean Girls – This is too bright for me, but I think it would look gorgeous on christines tanner complexion so I’ll gift it to her.

Stila Cushion Gel liner in sapphire ink – I don’t like this formula at all so I’m getting rid of this.

Bareminerals Single Shadows in Rhyme and Lyre – Both of these are gorgeous but I have dupes for them in palettes.

Lots of April Beauty Favorites

Hello everyone! This month I’ve been using so many new products and I’m excited to share with you all some things I’ve been particularly loving all month. I hope you guys enjoy this post!

Lips:

Becca Beach Tint Lip Shimmer Souffle in the shade Rasberry Opal

This is such a pretty lip gloss that is natural looking and has a non sticky formula. It feels like there is nothing on your lips and it also has really good color payoff. Sometimes glosses don’t have good pigment but this one does and I feel like it is the perfect shade for spring!

Buttler London Plush Rush Lipgloss in the shade Free Fall

This is another gloss that I love, I paired it with the Tarte amazonian clay lipstick in Neutral Peach to make a beautiful mauve shade. This one is also non sticky and I am enjoying the formula. Continue reading “Lots of April Beauty Favorites”

I have had no problems with my mascara transferring at all since I started using this and it comes off easily when you want to remove it. I love that it gives your lashes some length, some volume and is extremely black. As you guys saw in my everyday makeup routine this is a daily favorite of mine!

Hello and welcome back to our blog! I want to thank all of you guys for reading and I hope I help inspire you all to clean out your own collections for the new year. I felt very cluttered and didn’t have any room to put any of my amazing Christmas palettes or new beauty items away so I decided it was time for a clean out.

I’ll show you guys how I organize soon after I figure out what I am doing!

Here is a before picture: (this is a crowded nightmare)

As you can see everything is spilling out of its rightful boxes! (Also you can see my feet, I’m sorry I forgot to crop out my mismatched socks and the random mess on the right)
