E.L.F Tone Correcting Powder Review

Hello guys! Today I have a beauty bargain to share with you. I’ve been using this powder for a while and I wanted to do a review on it!

Overview:

  • Price: $4
  • Cruelty free and 100% vegan!
  • Translucent pressed powder

Promise: Create a balanced and radiant complexion that is beautiful and healthy. The lightweight formula evens out skin tone and absorbs excess oil, and sheer formula brightens, mattes and neutralizes the skin.

I thought that this product really did live up to the promises. I love this for setting my foundation, I use a dewy finish foundation (I have drier skin) and once I layer this over it, it becomes a satiny – matte finish and I love how it looks. It is sheer and the colors don’t show up, the powder becomes translucent on your skin. It is very finely milled and feels very smooth and silky on your skin. It will absorb excess oil, Continue reading “E.L.F Tone Correcting Powder Review”

Finish 18 in 2018 Project Pan Update #2

Hello guys! Welcome to a very late update #2 for my project pan (This was supposed to be up at the end of April, we’re just going to roll with it.)

I’ve hit pan on two products and finished one so let’s get on with the update:

Face Products:

Benefit Dallas Blush – I wasn’t working on this this update, no progress to show.

Laura Geller Balance and Bronze Foundation and Bronzer – I worked on this the past two months and I see some progress in reducing the dome shape  of it.
Laura Geller Air Whipped Blush in Whisper Peach – This I keep not reaching for, I hope that I reach for it in summer!

It Cosmetics Hello Light Cream Luminizer – This has gone down .2 of a centimeter since the last update. I was attempting to focus on the vapor highlight for this update. Continue reading “Finish 18 in 2018 Project Pan Update #2”

New Skincare Haul!

Hello guys! Today I’m going to show you all of the new skincare I’ve gotten over the last couple weeks. My eighteenth birthday was in April and so my mom gifted me some of these products and some of them I bought myself.

Lets get into it:

Face Masks:

Acure The Magical Wonderfluff Overnight Hydrating Mask – This looks so nourishing and lovely and I cannot wait to try it, I always could use an overnight mask.

Ecotools Mini Mask Kit – This is perfect for travel, I’m definitely bringing it with me when I go on vacation this summer. It has a little carrying case, a pot to mix powder masks with water, a brush and sponge and it is so convenient.

Serums:

Juice Beauty Antioxidant serum – This I’ve used once, and it is so brightening. I woke up glowing the next day! Definitely will review this for you guys and let you know if it is something that works in the long term.

Beauty Empties: March – April

Hello guys! Sorry for leaving for a few weeks, Christine did a lovely job holding down the fort!

Choosing which college to attend in the fall was such a huge decision and it sucked up all my time. I just committed to a college in California and I could not be happier, so I’m back to blogging!

Anyways, lets jump into the beauty empties:

Makeup:

Bareminerals Touch Up Veil in Translucent – This powder was really lovely and it has spf 15, but no flashback. I would repurchase this in the future!

Physicians Formula Eye Pencil in Black – This eye pencil was just okay, it didn’t stay in the waterline so I wouldn’t repurchase.

Skincare:

Vapour Beauty Clarity Cleansing Oil – I really like this, it is so lightweight and takes off your makeup really well. I already repurchased!

Acure Purifying Fruit Peel – This was amazing, it really got the top layer of dead skin off and left me glowing. I also really love this skincare brand  and I would definitely repurchase!

Pacifica Dreamy Youth Day and Night Face Cream – This was just okay, it wasn’t anything stand out and I’d recommend it if you just need something that will give you lightweight moisture for a cheap price. Continue reading “Beauty Empties: March – April”

Current Winter Skincare Routine!

Hello you guys! Welcome back to our blog! Today I wanted to share with you my skincare routine, I haven’t done one of these in ages, so it is definitely time for an update, and all of this is cruelty free this time!

This is the skincare routine that has prevented me from getting flaky dry patches this year. It is only five steps, so much simpler than my old routine.

  1. vapour cleansing oil

This is what I use to take off my makeup at night, it works so well. It leaves an oily but hydrating film on your skin, that film will come off if you double cleanse, or if you towel your face dry so you can use it on its own as well.

2. terremere Tea and Aloe Hydrating Cleanser

This is my second cleanse! It does a good job of taking off any leftover makeup, and leaves my skin very soft and hydrated. I love that this is not stripping, it is a lovely cream cleanser. Continue reading “Current Winter Skincare Routine!”
