Milani Retouch and Erase Concealer Review

Hello guys! Welcome back to our blog. Today I want to share a review on a concealer that I really love from the drugstore that I haven’t heard anyone talk about in a while. For me this is a drugstore gem and I want to share it:

Overview:

  • $8.99
  • comes in 3 shades
  • cruelty free

Promise: Milani’s Retouch + Erase Light-Lifting Concealer is designed to instantly hide dark circles, spots, blemishes and imperfections with a brightening effect. (From Ulta’s website)

So I really love this concealer because it blends out really easily with your fingers, or a sponge. It gives a nice sheer-medium coverage on me and the really yellow tone of the concealer makes it nice for covering my undereye circles. Continue reading “Milani Retouch and Erase Concealer Review”

Maybelline Age Rewind Stick

Hello my lovelies! I am so sorry for the lack of posting on my half, I’ve been going through a lot of family and self issues that have taken away from my availability to post.

But I am back and ready to rumble!

Today I will be posting my review on Maybelline’s age rewind stick.

Like any high schooler I’ve developed pretty bad dark circles under my eyes. Sometimes concelor will cover it up, but sometimes it doesn’t and it takes away from the look when you can’t cover up dem dark circles!

My friend uses this stick and recommended it to me, so the next day I went out to the drug stone and bought it.

There were two “sizes” at the drugstore, one was a skinny stick and the other was a fatter one. To me that was the only difference, they were the same height.

I went with the skinny stick to test it out (even though it didn’t matter!)

I was amazed when I tested it out with a full face of makeup! Boy did it cover up my dark circles like it wasn’t anyone’s business! I was a bit tongue tied after putting it on.

What I’ve been doing hence far is after I apply the age rewind I will put on my normal concelor to even Bette the effect.

The age rewind is light yet has a lot of pigment, perfect for covering up.

My only issue with this product was that I couldn’t open it up and simply slap it on, I had to twist the cap for a good 2 minuets before any product came out. I have to redo this about every other day.

Other than that I really loved this product! Defiantly will re buy when it goes out!

Ta ta my loves!

Comment down below the most recent emoji you’ve used, and if you have the age rewind stick, do you like it?

The Best Concealer for Creaseless Undereyes!

Hello guys! I got this concealer way back in April and I never reviewed it because for a while, I actually hated it. Now i’ve completely changed my mind and I have been loving it for my undereyes and for spot concealing. It’s just become an all around favorite for me!

It is the Urban Decay naked skin concealer!

Promise:
An innovative, high-coverage concealer that provides buildable, weightless coverage and leaves an invisible, Naked Skin finish. (sephora website)

This concealer does everything it says. It has a really good amount of coverage, medium to full, and isn’t drying at all. I don’t think I’ve found another concealer that lasts this long and is this lightweight. This doesn’t crease on my undereyes, even if I don’t set it with powder it seems to set itself and doesn’t settle into my lines. I have hooded eyes and almost all concealers crease there except for this one. It is really hydrating, if you have incredibly dry undereyes it will sink in and attempt to hydrate, which will cause cracking. That is what happened with me and why I didn’t like it at first. After I started using an eye cream at night that problem disappeared and it looks weightless and flawless on my skin when I apply it in the morning.

Beauty Bargain of the Month: September

Hello guys! I am extremely excited for this post because I have found an amazing concealer that was $3.99 at Marshalls. This is a cruelty free dupe for my Rimmel Match Perfection, so I’m glad to have found a replacement.

This product is from DirtyWorks and it is a color corrector and concealer for undereye circles!

Overview:

  • Price: Super cheap at marshalls, full price was $15
  • 4.5g of product in each pan
  • cruelty free!
  • one concealer and one peach toned color corrector

Promise:

  • Instantly camouflage those dark circles and imperfections with this lightweight concealer.
  • Contains soothing Aloe Vera and Vitamin E to help moisture and provide antioxidant protection.

These concealers are in little pots and have a super creamy consistency. I can blend this easily with my finger or a brush. The coverage is pretty sheer to medium and you can build it up a little but it isn’t full by any means. The peach toned corrector is easily hidden under the concealer side and does work to cancel out any darkness under my eyes.

E.L.F July

Hello my lovelies! I can’t believe July is over!!

During the month of July, I happened to get a lot of E.L.F products, for myself and as birthday gifts.
The first product i got was their Ivory creme concealor stick,

Now the previous liquid concealor stick i got from E.L.F i did not like, I didn’t like how within a week the bottle was pretty much gone. So this time I got a creme stick, personally I find they last much longer. I really love this stick, it covers very well and spreads cleanly.
Next I got the E.L.F lipstick. In the shade of pink

Way back to last summer I got this exact shade from Forever 21 and loved it. This year I got It as a gift. It is the same shade as my lips, so it makes the whole look look natural. Not to mention it keeps my lips hydrated! Continue reading “E.L.F July”

Massive Beauty Declutter!

Hi guys! Lately I have bought some new products and its time for me to get rid of the old stuff that I no longer am using.  I’ve cleaned out my makeup and also my skincare and samples for this declutter so I’m going to show you what I’m getting rid of.

I also know that Christine has been beauty purging as well so maybe you’ll see a post like this from her soon!

Makeup:

I never color correct except for canceling redness so I’m getting rid of the bulky palette and I’ll purchase green concealer separately. That becca quad is not good quality in my opinion but christine wanted to try it so I’ll give it to her. The mascara is expired so it is going away! I never reach for coral so the milani gloss got no use from me. I also never reach for single shadows so I duped all of those seven shades in palettes. they are so amazing though, if you like single shadows I highly recommend these!

Nails:

I didn’t use the nude polishes from Deborah Lippman or the barielle. The butter london one was so cool toned it looked awful on me, and the pink zoya polish is just not me anymore. I also never do nail art so I don’t need the stickers, and I hate nail files I am keeping only one. Continue reading “Massive Beauty Declutter!”

Hello everyone! Welcome back to our blog and I hope you are all having a lovely day. Today I’m going to share with you five drugstore products that I absolutely could not live without! Drugstore makeup is surprisingly amazing quality for the price sometimes, these are my  favorites, if you see these, snap them up!

1. profusion studio contour palette

This is a gorgeous contour palette and the shade selection is spot on for my skin tone. It’s hard to find contour products that don’t look muddy on fair skin but this is perfect. I also love the message behind the brand and it being cruelty free as well as all natural. Read my review here if you want more information!

2. loreal lumi illuminator in the shade ice

All my Beauty Empties from 2016!

Hello everyone! Welcome back to our blog, today I want to share with you all of the products I’ve used up this year. Now I’m sure you’re thinking: oh no this is going to be sooooo long, however I have only been saving my empties for five months. I say that honestly to make me feel better about the fact that I’ve only finished nine things, but if I finish something it usually means I love it! Here are my empties for this year:

Hair:

Hair One Hair Cleanser and conditioner –

I love using this as a leave in conditioner, it is a staple in my hair care routine. It makes my curls feel soft and doesn’t make your hair crunchy, so I highly recommend this. Because of the olive oil and avocado it is hydrating as well!

Repurchase: YES!
