Makeup Declutter for the new Year!

Hello guys! I got a lot of new makeup to play with for Christmas, which I’m so grateful for, but I really needed to get some of the older products out of my collection to make room for the new. You guys seem to love these posts, I’m so glad you do because I love making them.

Here is what I’m getting rid of!

Lip products:

Laura Geller Lipstick in Vista – This just is an average nude and it wasn’t exciting me so I let it go.

NYX simply Vamp Lip Crayons – This winter I wore more brown or red based dark lipsticks, not purple, so unfortunately these have to go.

Laura Geller Lip Pops Lip Gloss – Dark colored lip gloss is just stressful because it will get everywhere, so I’m letting this go.

NYX butter gloss in creme brulee – I assure you, I love this formula!! This shade was a bit too light pink for my taste. I picked up two better shades for me recently and I enjoy those more!

Other Makeup:

Tarte Play with Clay Quad, Naked 2 basics palette – Lowkey nervous about parting with these palettes, but I have so many duplicate shades, and I don’t need these.

(it was also snowing this morning which put me in such a good mood!)

Items I’ve Finished:

Bobbi Brown Smokey Eye Mascara – I’ve had this for wayy too long and I’ve had it in three project pans now so i’m very glad its gone. I have a backup tube I need to finish next!

Jo Malone Pomegranate Noir Perfume sample – This was a lovely fall scent and I enjoyed it. I’m glad to have finished off two non cruelty free products this project!

E.L.F July

Hello my lovelies! I can’t believe July is over!!

During the month of July, I happened to get a lot of E.L.F products, for myself and as birthday gifts.
The first product i got was their Ivory creme concealor stick,

Now the previous liquid concealor stick i got from E.L.F i did not like, I didn’t like how within a week the bottle was pretty much gone. So this time I got a creme stick, personally I find they last much longer. I really love this stick, it covers very well and spreads cleanly.
Next I got the E.L.F lipstick. In the shade of pink

Way back to last summer I got this exact shade from Forever 21 and loved it. This year I got It as a gift. It is the same shade as my lips, so it makes the whole look look natural. Not to mention it keeps my lips hydrated! Continue reading “E.L.F July”

Putting DIY Lipstick Methods to the Test

Hi everyone! Welcome back to our blog! I’m incredibly excited about today’s post, I’m going to be testing out a diy lipstick method by Karina Garcia on YouTube to see if it works! I  mentioned a few days ago in my going cruelty free post that I wasn’t going to use any of the Sephora palette eye shadows since they were too bright.  I was decided to make lipstick out of them to use them up completely and not throw anything away! If you want to see if this diy lipstick method on YouTube actually work then keep reading:

What you will need:

(Lipgloss or Vaseline not both)

A mixing container, beeswax Chapstick and lip gloss. If you don’t have lip gloss ,Vaseline is the best substitute I found since I ran out of gloss half way through!

Then you will need eyeshadow:

Cleaning out my Makeup Collection for the New Year

Hello and welcome back to our blog! I want to thank all of you guys for reading and I hope I help inspire you all to clean out your own collections for the new year. I felt very cluttered and didn’t have any room to put any of my amazing Christmas palettes or new beauty items away so I decided it was time for a clean out.

I’ll show you guys how I organize soon after I figure out what I am doing!

Here is a before picture: (this is a crowded nightmare)

As you can see everything is spilling out of its rightful boxes! (Also you can see my feet, I’m sorry I forgot to crop out my mismatched socks and the random mess on the right)

Huge November 2016 Beauty Favorites!

Hi everyone! Welcome back to this blog and happy December! Since it’s December it’s basically christmas in my mind. Here is a list of my November favorites! I’ve purchased a lot of products this month and I think all but two of these are new products from November.

Butter London Glazen in Oil Slick –

I just had to mention this! It is such a cool product. A few weeks ago I bought a whole bunch of Butter London stuff, there was a huge event at Ulta, and a lot was on sale. This is an eyeshadow that feels jelly like and absolutely strange in the pan, but once you put it on your skin it turns into powder. It is super shimmery and really does look like an oil spill on pavement. Once you blend it out, it leaves behind a gorgeous red brown hue, and some of the shimmer disappears, which I am loving.
