18 in 2018 Project Pan Update #1

Hello guys! Today I am sharing an update with you for my 18 in 2018 project pan, I’ve made some good progress and managed to finish a product so lets get into it:

Face Products:

Benefit Dallas Blush – This has a dip in it! you can see the metal around the edges and that the product is getting lower in the pan, steady progress which i’m happy about.

Laura Geller Balance and Bronze Foundation and Bronzer – This I haven’t used because I was focusing on the benefit. I will rotate it in next month.

Laura Geller Cream Blush – This has a bit of a dip in it, some progress but not as much as I’d like.

It Cosmetics Hello Light Creme Luminizer – I love this product, and I made tons of progress on it. It went down 0.6cm from the intro.

Vapour Beauty halo illuminator in Moonlight – This is a bit intense for me, so I had not a lot of progress on it, it only went down 0.2cm from the intro!

Finish 18 in 2018 Project Pan

Hello guys! Welcome back to our blog! So, last year I did seasonal project pans but this year I am going to switch it up by trying to finish eighteen products in a year. Lets jump into it:

Face products:

Benefit Dallas Blush – this is not cruelty free but I absolutely love it. I just found a dupe so I want to use this up!

Laura Geller Balance N Bronze Fair – This is a lovely natural bronzer but it is going to go bad so I want to use it up!

Laura Geller Creme Blush – I’ve had this for ages and it looks so natural and gorgeous! I don’t want it to go bad.

It cosmetics cream highlighter – This is going to go bad if I don’t use it so I want to finish it!

Vapour Beauty Highlighter – This is a small sample and I don’t love it as much as my it-cosmetics one so I want to finish it.

November ipsy bag!

Hello my lovelies! I can’t believe November has come to an end, though Thanksgiving may have passed, might I say how incredibly thankful I am for all you guys! You have no idea how much you have helped Hailey and I, and how much you mean to us!

This months bag has to be my favorite so far!

Lately I have been very obsessed with the natural look, the subtitle makeup that isn’t too over the top. For me personally that has been my 2017 fall look! So when I opened this months bag I was thrilled!

First up in my bag was….

Benefits they’re real sample mascara:

I adore this mascara so so much and will definitely buy the actual mascara. This mascara gives me so much volume, I already have camel lashes, but this mascara brings them out even more (I keep trying to flutter those chemistry test grades away but it doesn’t seem to be working!) the only thing that o don’t like about it is it takes awhile to get off at the end of the day, which his both good and bad, I mean I’m glad that it stays on 24 hours, but at the end of the day when I just want to go to bed and I’m spending an extra 2 minuets rubbing it off, it can get a little tiresome.

Top 3 Cream/Liquid Highlighters

Hi guys! I love doing these Top 3 sorts of posts and you guys seem to like them too so I wanted to do one on cream highlighting. For me, because my skin is more dry I find that cream/liquid highlights don’t emphasize texture and go on more naturally than powder so I love them and I wanted to share my favorites!

1. It Cosmetics Hello Light Creme Luminizer Stick

This gives such a subtle and lovely glow from within that I absolutely adore. Whenever I want a subtler highlight I always use this because it is so blendable and catches the light slightly. It will not move around your foundation and is not glittery at all so if you do have more mature skin I think you might really like this. If you are oily though I would pass on this, it might make you look greasy!

Benefit Dallas Dusty Rose Face Powder Review and Swatches!

Hello everyone! Lately I have been using this a ton, and I realized I’ve never reviewed or swatched it, even though its in our instagram pictures so often! Here are my thoughts on the Dallas bronzer that I got for Christmas three months ago!

The Promise: (from Benefit’s website) Provides a sheer wash of sun kissed radiance. It is a blush and bronzer all in one and flatters all skin tones.

I have been using it as both a bronzer and a blush, and it works amazing either way. I like that I can take it traveling and not need a bronzer or blush palette, it just saves so much space and time in the morning. It is also really nice on the skin and still looks natural and beautiful after hours of school or work. It does have a strong scent, I personally am loving it but I know some of you don’t, and it goes away right after you apply the product.  I think that this was overshadowed by the hype for benefit’s hoola bronzer, but this is gorgeous!

Swatches:

Pros:

  • Two in One
  • Will flatter most skin tones
  • beautiful and natural on the skin
  • easy to apply
  • saves both time and space in your bag
  • large amount of product for the price
  • nice feel and texture
  • beautiful packaging, with a brush

Cons:

  • Not Cruelty Free
  • has a couple of glitter particles in it
  • the scent (might bother some of you guys!)

The Bottom Line: It does everything it says it does, it is a beautiful powder that works as a blush or bronzer somehow, it’s amazing on most skin tones!

Thank you guys so much for reading and I hope you enjoyed this review! If you did then leave a like and a comment telling me what your favorite benefit product is!

Products I Want to Use Up – Going Cruelty Free

Hello everyone! Welcome back to our blog! Today I want to show you everything I plan on using up this year!

Lately animal testing has become a bigger deal. It’s heartbreaking to see pictures of the damage (you will cry), so I made the decision to buy only cruelty free makeup from now on. (Christine has as well!) By using up everything I have in my collection that is not cruelty free, I want to be completely cruelty free by 2018. This is really important to me, I also love animals and I feel good about making this decision!

Face Makeup –

Benefit High beam – I will be using this up, since I spent quite a bit of money on it and I enjoy using it. I already use this everyday, and I will continue after using up the Loreal Lumi!

Five Products Youtube Made Me Buy

Hi everyone! Welcome back to our blog, and welcome if you are new here! Today I’m going to be talking about five makeup items that I would have not bought without the YouTube beauty community! I’m sure everyone who loves makeup has run out and bought the product that their favorite youtuber or blogger is loving, I am completely guilty!

Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara

This mascara was used by so many of my favorite beauty bloggers and I finally had to buy it! I’m glad to say that I think it was worth the hype, it is a great mascara, especially for its price. It makes your lashes really full and also grabs the small ones on the outer corners of your eyes.
