Becca First Light Priming Filter Primer Review

Hello guys! Welcome back to our blog, today I want to review this primer that I bought a while ago but I’ve recently started using it!

Overview:

  • Price: $38 for the full size, $18 for the deluxe size (what I have)
  • Cruelty free!

Promise: Your new-pick-me up, a lavender hued priming filter powered by luminescence that preps, perks & perfects the complexion. (From the back of the tube)

I really think that this primer is nice! I have normal skin and this just gives very lightweight hydration, just enough to make my skin hydrated and dewy. I also love that this doesn’t have a lot of shimmer or glitter in it because a lot of dewy primers are full of that shimmer and it makes your skin look artificial.

This primer has a light nice texture just like a moisturizer and gives your skin enough of a perfecting Continue reading “Becca First Light Priming Filter Primer Review”

Finish 18 in 2018 Project Pan Update #2

Hello guys! Welcome to a very late update #2 for my project pan (This was supposed to be up at the end of April, we’re just going to roll with it.)

I’ve hit pan on two products and finished one so let’s get on with the update:

Face Products:

Benefit Dallas Blush – I wasn’t working on this this update, no progress to show.

Laura Geller Balance and Bronze Foundation and Bronzer – I worked on this the past two months and I see some progress in reducing the dome shape  of it.
Laura Geller Air Whipped Blush in Whisper Peach – This I keep not reaching for, I hope that I reach for it in summer!

It Cosmetics Hello Light Cream Luminizer – This has gone down .2 of a centimeter since the last update. I was attempting to focus on the vapor highlight for this update. Continue reading “Finish 18 in 2018 Project Pan Update #2”

18 in 2018 Project Pan Update #1

Hello guys! Today I am sharing an update with you for my 18 in 2018 project pan, I’ve made some good progress and managed to finish a product so lets get into it:

Face Products:

Benefit Dallas Blush – This has a dip in it! you can see the metal around the edges and that the product is getting lower in the pan, steady progress which i’m happy about.

Laura Geller Balance and Bronze Foundation and Bronzer – This I haven’t used because I was focusing on the benefit. I will rotate it in next month.

Laura Geller Cream Blush – This has a bit of a dip in it, some progress but not as much as I’d like.

It Cosmetics Hello Light Creme Luminizer – I love this product, and I made tons of progress on it. It went down 0.6cm from the intro.

Vapour Beauty halo illuminator in Moonlight – This is a bit intense for me, so I had not a lot of progress on it, it only went down 0.2cm from the intro!

January Beauty Favorites!

Hello guys! I hope you have had a good first month of 2018! Welcome back to our blog and today we are going to talk about all of my January beauty favorites, so lets get into it:

Face Products:

Dr. Hauschka Coverstick 01 – This is the lightest shade of their stick concealer, and it is a rediscovered favorite of mine. It doesn’t crease on me, the pink tone of it cancels out all the darkness under my eyes and you can slap it on quickly and blend it out with your finger for sheer-medium coverage on the go which I love.

Stila Heavens Hue Highlighter in Kitten – This was so so gorgeous for everyday! Subtle but pretty glow and you can build it up if you really want to. I loved it for just making my skin look radiant and I just did a review on it so I will not bore you with more details!

Physicians Formula Butter Highlighter in pearl – This was also in my December Favorites and I just can’t stop using it. It is so pretty and very very blinding. I love how smooth and creamy the formula is, it feels more like a cream formula than powder and you need to try these if you havent already!

Eye Products:

W3ll People Capitalist 911 Brow Powder in matte taupe – This is the most gorgeous product for natural brows for me! If there are any blondes or other girls like me who need a taupe and more cool toned brow I think you could really like this. I always have a good brow day when I use this and I’ve been reaching for it a lot!

Finish 18 in 2018 Project Pan

Hello guys! Welcome back to our blog! So, last year I did seasonal project pans but this year I am going to switch it up by trying to finish eighteen products in a year. Lets jump into it:

Face products:

Benefit Dallas Blush – this is not cruelty free but I absolutely love it. I just found a dupe so I want to use this up!

Laura Geller Balance N Bronze Fair – This is a lovely natural bronzer but it is going to go bad so I want to use it up!

Laura Geller Creme Blush – I’ve had this for ages and it looks so natural and gorgeous! I don’t want it to go bad.

It cosmetics cream highlighter – This is going to go bad if I don’t use it so I want to finish it!

Vapour Beauty Highlighter – This is a small sample and I don’t love it as much as my it-cosmetics one so I want to finish it.

Mini Ulta Makeup Haul!

Hello guys! Welcome back to our blog! A few days ago I went to Ulta with Christine and bought a few things! Mostly practical things. I think I am putting myself on a no-buy after this because I need to save up for christmas gifts for everyone in my family!

Anyways let’s get into it!

Face Products:

Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge – I’d never tried this sponge and I had heard so many good things about it! So far my first impression is good as well, I actually love it! I’ve never tried an original beauty blender so I won’t know how it compares, but I like this so far.

Becca First Light Priming Filter – I heard that this was hydrating and lovely from one of my favorite beauty gurus on youtube so I decided to pick up a mini size. I have a couple of primers to work through first before I commit to a big size of this one.

5 Products I’ve Changed my Mind About!

Hello everyone and welcome back to our blog! I have some products to share with you that I have changed my mind about after using them for a while. Some I disliked and now I absolutely love and some the opposite happened!

1. Tarte Lights Camera Lashes mascara

This used to be a holy grail of mine but now after trying out so many others it just seems meh. Like it gets the job done but I honestly am not reaching for it. After I finish this tube I won’t buy another.

2. Tarte Tartiest mascara

I hated this upon first impression because of how bad it flaked and how it was goopy. After using it for a month it stopped flaking and I figured out how to work with it. Now it is actually my favorite mascara! It gives beautiful volume.

3. Becca Beach tint lip shimmer in the shade Rasberry/Opal

I loved this when I first got it and I thought it was so gorgeous! But as a couple months passed I started liking it less. It feels a little sticky on the lips which I dislike especially because of how expensive this is. Continue reading ” 5 Products I’ve Changed my Mind About!”

The Packaging Awards – Makeup I Bought for the Packaging!

Hi guys and welcome back to our blog!

I know I am not the only one who is guilty of buying makeup for the packaging, and I have a ton of products I bought because they looked pretty. This was inspired by one of my favorite youtubers, livloveshermakeup who did this a long while ago but I had a good laugh about it so I wanted to do it as well! Today I am going to share my top five prettiest makeup items with you!

  1. Hourglass Vanish Stick Foundation

This is so freaking gorgeous, the triangular tube is in this maroony brown shade which is so luxe, and its super simple too. It’s such elegant packaging that I love it!

2. Tarte Tartelette Matte Palette

This palette is stunning, the warm periwinkle fading to purple is so pretty and I love the gold font. The cursive is really girly as well and I honestly have kept holding on to it for the packaging. I just can’t bring myself to declutter it even though I don’t love it.

Massive Beauty Declutter!

Hi guys! Lately I have bought some new products and its time for me to get rid of the old stuff that I no longer am using.  I’ve cleaned out my makeup and also my skincare and samples for this declutter so I’m going to show you what I’m getting rid of.

I also know that Christine has been beauty purging as well so maybe you’ll see a post like this from her soon!

Makeup:

I never color correct except for canceling redness so I’m getting rid of the bulky palette and I’ll purchase green concealer separately. That becca quad is not good quality in my opinion but christine wanted to try it so I’ll give it to her. The mascara is expired so it is going away! I never reach for coral so the milani gloss got no use from me. I also never reach for single shadows so I duped all of those seven shades in palettes. they are so amazing though, if you like single shadows I highly recommend these!

Nails:

I didn’t use the nude polishes from Deborah Lippman or the barielle. The butter london one was so cool toned it looked awful on me, and the pink zoya polish is just not me anymore. I also never do nail art so I don’t need the stickers, and I hate nail files I am keeping only one. Continue reading “Massive Beauty Declutter!”
