Our First Influenster Voxbox: Matrix Rebond Haircare Review

Hello guys! We got our first Influenster Voxbox a couple of weeks ago and we were so excited! We received the total results line, the Shampoo, Pre-conditioner and Conditioner from Matrix.

Overview:

  • Price: Shampoo: $9.7, Preconditioner: $13.50, Conditioner: $9.75 all are color safe.
  • This brand says they are cruelty free, but are a part of L’oreal which might still test on animals in China.
  • 10.1 Oz of product

Promise: This whole line of haircare is supposed to repair damaged hair by reconnecting hair bonds and make your hair soft and strong.

Our thoughts:

Shampoo –

Christine (Straight hair that is lightened): I liked the shampoo because a little went a long way, it lathered really well, my hair felt pretty clean afterward.

Hailey (Curly): This was way too harsh for my hair type because I need a very hydrating shampoo, but it did leave my hair clean and get rid of any product buildup.

Overall: Recommend for girls with straighter hair types.

Preconditioner –

Top 5 Holy Grail Drugstore Products!

Hello everyone! Welcome back to our blog and I hope you are all having a lovely day. Today I’m going to share with you five drugstore products that I absolutely could not live without! Drugstore makeup is surprisingly amazing quality for the price sometimes, these are my  favorites, if you see these, snap them up!

1. profusion studio contour palette

This is a gorgeous contour palette and the shade selection is spot on for my skin tone. It’s hard to find contour products that don’t look muddy on fair skin but this is perfect. I also love the message behind the brand and it being cruelty free as well as all natural. Read my review here if you want more information!

2. loreal lumi illuminator in the shade ice

My Simple Everyday Makeup Routine

Hello everyone! Today I wanted to show you the everyday makeup look that I do most days when getting ready for school. This is nothing too fancy, school is not really the place for a crazy smokey eye or dramatic wing liner. This only takes me about 15 minutes total.

Face:

This pur powder foundation is really natural and evens out my skin tone well, and I just apply it with a big kabuki brush. The Alba botanica concealer for getting rid of dark circles has been one of my favorites, it really makes them disappear and is peachy yellow toned. For small spot concealing my favorite is this dr. Haushka concealer in shade one.

Blush contour highlight:

To contour I love my profusion palette, (review here) and then I go in with the wisteria blush from becca. This is a stunning pinky purple toned shade which is really light and it looks gorgeous on fair skin in general. For highlight I use a combo of the lightest pink and white toned highlights in this bellapierre  glowing palette. Review here!

Small Drugstore Lipstick Haul!

Hello everyone! So recently I went a little nuts in the drugstore and ended up coming home with four lipsticks and a lipliner that I totally did not need. But I bought them anyways, and I’m sure plenty of you can relate 😂. These are all from Marshalls and the Milani ones were two dollars, complete bargain!

Milani color statement lipstick in chocolate berries –

Swatches:

Chocolate berries seems like almost a dupe for my too faced melted lipstick in chocolate cherries and the formula is really soft. This has a mostly matte finish.   Overall I am super excited to try this lipstick more more, I’ve always been impressed with Milani, I would like to do a review on these soon, would you guys be interested?
