Almay liquid liner in black

Hello loves!! Thank you for joining us for yet another fun blog! A quick thanks to all who have been following our blogs lately, and if youre new WELCOME we love you!

Now for those who have been following our blogs for awhile know that i have a slight obsession with lipsticks. Its such a problem! My second obsession though if definitley eyeliner. I am always on the hunt for the best eyeliner. One thats water proof, smudge proof and long lasting. And im always eager to try out brands that ive never heard of. ALMAY being one of them!

Now this retails for about $6 or $7 which is pretty affordable for an eyeliner. Now it doesnt look like you can purchase it from their website, but i do know you can get it at Walmart or Ulta!

Now what does this promise?

Get beautiful definition with this easy-to-use liquid eyeliner. Water-resistant formula lasts up to 16 hours without irritation. Unique “inkwell” design delivers fresh color every time. Flex-tip applicator provides mistake-proof control.

Thats what this eyeliner is supposed to do, now lets take it step by step.

Did it give me beautiful definition?

Fairly good, the tip was very fine which did make for a more precise application, but i will say it gave of a very liquidy consistancy even after shaking before using. It was kind of like if i were to use black water color as eyeliner, which i wasnt a huge fan of for wings. For a more natural look without wings it was okay.

Is it water resistant?

I will say i was shocked to find that it was water resistant. If i lay down, there is always one eye that gets really watery. I have no idea why, but laying down after doing my makeup is always risky because of it and i dont know how many times ive ruined my eyeliner by it. Thankfully when i used this product, although i dont like the water color looking wings it gave me, it did last through my leaky eyes.

16hr and no irritation?

I will say it lasted for about 9hrs, at least thats how long i was wearing the product for. I have no doubt that it would definitley have lasted longer if i had worn it. As for irritation it did make my eyes itch a bit when i drew one some wings, but if i didnt add wings there was no irritation.

Mistake proof control?

Ladies we’ve all been there before, those bad eyeliner days where the tip decides to like go crazy? So much for straight wings right?I will say that the tip is rather flexible and the times i have used this eyeliner, i have yet to muff anything up.

Now is it my favorite eyeliner in the whole entire world? No, it just personally isnt the type that i like. If it was a thicker/ darker more matte consistancy i think it would totally be a must have. Alas it is not, but i do like to use this product when im do lazy to go all out and want a more natural look.

Thats it for todays blog!

Hello my loves! Welcome back to our blogs, and Happy New Year to all! I cant wait to see what 2019 has in store for all of us, and all of you! Comment down below what one of your New Years resolutions is.

Before i get too deep into this blog i really would like to thank all of you for follow our journey thus far. Hailey and i always say this, but its very true. When we started this blog we had no idea how big it was going to be, we had dreams of our blog becoming big, but we had no idea how quickly this would all gain, and many of you have been following our post since we were in our fetus stages of blogging. Thank you all! We love you all so much.

Now that you guys are all probably thinking “OMG Christine, get on with the blog”. I shall.

A few months ago i found this company in my local outlet mall. I had never heard of Crabtree and Evelyn so i wanted to test their products out. When i walked into the store i could definitley tell that their products were from all natural ingredients. It didnt smell like Bath and Body works or any of those stores. Crabtree i noticed mostly had hand lotions, but they also sold body washes and hair conditoners. Since i was running low on conditoner i decided why not give it a try. Beauty Empties: November – December

Hey guys, welcome back to our blog! Today I want to share with you my beauty empties for the month of November and December.

Makeup:

Butter London Plush Rush lip gloss in Free-fall – This was a gorgeous gloss! For me these seem quite similar to Buxom’s formula, and I enjoy those glosses just a little more, so I wouldn’t rebuy this.

LA colors lip gloss in clear – This is the best thick and hydrating clear gloss. I always put it over liquid lipsticks and I miss it a ton! Definitely going to repurchase.

It cosmetics Hello Light Cream Highlighter – I used this up this year. I repurchased it already, I love it. It is the perfect cream highlight for everyday!

Dr.Hauschka stick corrector in shade 01 – I did like this concealer but the shade was way too pink for me. I like the formula but I think I can find something better. Wouldn’t repurchase!

EOS lip balm – EOS is not cruelty free so I would not repurchase! But I also don’t feel like this hydrates my lips much at all, so I wouldn’t recommend these balms.

NYX Worth the Hype Mascara – I love this mascara! I cannot wait to go repurchase it, I like the consistency and the effect it gives to my lashes.

NYX Microbrow pencil in taupe- This eyebrow pencil was lovely. I just ran out of it this morning and I am going to repurchase it today because (not to be dramatic here) I can’t live without it.

Skincare:

Burts Bees Facial Cleansing towelettes – These were really good makeup wipes! I mostly used them for swatches and I would definitely repurchase.

SheaMoisture Youth Infusing Mud Mask – This mud mask kind of dried out my skin, I’m not sure how I felt about it and I wouldn’t repurchase. Continue reading “Beauty Empties: November – December”
