Hi loves!

As you may have noticed, our background has changed for our photos! Hailey and I use a marble stock paper that I found on Amazon for $7.00!

Now how does one make your photos good without spending tons of $$$ on props?

Here am i! Ready to help!

Green plant

I found this green plant at Daiso for $1.50, these plants have been very in style lately.

Candle holder

I’ve had this glass Candle holder for ages, and I find it gives the photo a pop of color.

Flower

Using those fake flowers from the craft store also gives you photo a nice spring time pop!

Glass elephant

I got this glass elephant as a birthday gift years back and I find it gives photos a very chic look
Holder and flower

Adding these two things together makes your photo really stand out!
Candle

Guys, let’s be honest, who DOESN’T own a candle? Other than making your house smell good and providing light,it also makes the perfect prop for photo’s!

August 2017 ipsy bag!

Standard

screenshot_2017-08-22-09-05-01_kindlephoto-1557152414.jpg
What do I look forward to once the new month begins???

Ipsy bags!!!

And these month’s was very unique! August bag had 3 different designs, so ontop of the surprise makeup, you got the surprise of finding out which bag you got!

I got the link and  orange bag that says  “peace, love, lipstick “. Which is just perfect considering I LOVE lipstick!

The first thing I got in my bag was…

Formula 10.06 pores be pure skin clarifying mud mask  strawberry yarrow version

This not only smells like strawberry yogurt, but it really helps your skin. Leaving it soft and pure.

Next was..

Balm voyage shadow luminizer

At first I was a little hesitant about this, but after using it I started to really like it! This shadow really does illuminate!
Sugar cream eyeliner was next

Now this one I truly thought I would give to Hailey, when I opened it the cream felt as if it were melted. Leaving a very sloppy application. The tip also broke the first time i used it so I had to work my way around the broken tip. Other than that, after using it for a bit. This eyeliner kinda grew on me, definitely not may favorite eyeliner, but still a good one.
Clarria cosmetics tinted primer was next

This one i was really exited about. I’ve never used a tinted primer, and it definitely like this! It’s very light and helps your foundation give a more finished look. Even using just the tinted primer itself makes it look like you have foundation on. I really like it!

Hikari blush and contour was last.

I didn’t like this as much. No matter how use it, you’ll always get more blush than bronzer. So this definitely wasn’t my favorite.
Over all I really enjoyed this month’s month’s bag, and I’m very exited about what September has in-store!!

NYX Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick Review

Standard

Hello everyone! I know that literally everyone has reviewed these cream lipsticks but I wanted to give you guys my take on them because I do have some pros and cons with this formula!

Promise: Our Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick glides on and sets into a striking matte finish.

Overview:

  • cruelty free!
  • Price: $6.99 (bargain)
  • matte finish

I do think that these do glide on, they are so opaque and pigmented which I absolutely love and they have a really matte finish so they accomplish the promise! They don’t really dry down all the way, (not a liquid lipstick) and feel a bit sticky if you press your lips together while you wear them. The stickiness slightly bothers me but the formula is comfortable. They are super matte which I absolutely love but they do feel kind of thick on your lips and are not as lightweight and whipped as the formulas that I usually enjoy.

Swatch:

This is the shade Bedtime Flirt and I kind of want to pick up more of these!

Pros:

  • Super matte finish
  • opaque and really pigmented
  • comfortable formula
  • pretty long lasting (except through food)
  • cruelty free!

Cons:

  • Thick formula that you can feel on the lips
  • does feel slightly sticky
  • doesn’t layer well (you shouldn’t need more than one, although touch ups can get a bit sticky)

The only thing I would change about these if I could is to make them a little more lightweight and less sticky. Overall I am willing to overlook it because they are so pigmented and I do like them, especially for a bargain price.

Summer Project Pan Halfway Update!

Standard

Hi guys! This is my halfway update for my seasonal project pan which will be ending in late september. I have a few makeup items I am attempting to use up and I am excited to share my progress with you guys!

What I have finished:

EOS lip balm – was okay, would not repurchase because it isn’t cruelty free!

Neutrogena Cream Cleanser – this is amazing! Definitely recommend to you guys if you are able to buy it, but it isn’t cruelty free so I won’t repurchase

Progress!
