John Frieda Sea Salt Spray Review

Standard

Hello fellow beauties!

With Summer here, I thought what better season to share this sea salt spray!

Now sea salt spray has gotten more and more popular as the years go by. So I wanted to test out this new craze.

I ordered the  John Frieda Beach Blonde Sea Waves Sea Salt Spray from amazon. When ordering this I had the image of beautiful waves. I also watched probably a thousand videos on how to use this product, so that I could be sure I was using it right.

While watching these videos I realized that most of this girls had short hair, but I didn’t really think of it at the time.

I also have incredibly straight hair. So I knew getting the desired wavy beach curls would be a challenge.

The spray arrived in only a few days, and of course I ripped it out of the bag and tried it out.

I did all that these videos recommended, and personally for me all it really did was make my hair look as if I gently teased it.

It also smells like coconut mixed with the sea , which is a plus.

I decided not to give up on this product too easily.

That night before bed I braided my hair loosely, then the following morning I let out the braid and sprayed a bit of the sea salt over my hair, while gently running my fingers through the waves.

After doing that I found that I did get my desired waves

  1. I have naturally wavy hair so I find sea salt sprays work pretty well to enhance my waves! I usually just spray it in while wet, then scrunch it! I have this John Frieda one and I love the smell of it. I just don’t like how most sea salt sprays make my hair feel. I’m definitely the type who loves to feel soft hair that I can run my fingers through! With the spray, I find you can’t do that because it adds texture and it dries my hair out a bit.
