Summer Project Pan!

Standard

Hi everyone and welcome back to our blog! I am loving project panning so I am definitely going to be doing another one for sure. I picked 10 products this time, but only six are makeup (mostly newish too) so I think I should be able to get through most of the products (certainly will get through the skincare ones).

Skincare:

Juice beauty face mask – This has been open for almost two years and I don’t want it to go bad, I love it so I want to finish it.

Neuotrogena purifying cream cleanser – I absolutely love this but it has been open for a long time and I also have a cruelty free face wash that I am in love with so I want to use this up!

Tarte maracuja oil – this expires in September and is nowhere near done! I love it so I want to finish it and repurchase. Continue reading

Coming Together to Make A Difference for NARS Cosmetics!

Standard

Hi guys! Welcome back to our blog. I know we’ve been posting a lot but this post is pretty time sensitive! If you were looking for a makeup post, one will be up Thursday like normal so don’t worry!

I am sure most of you know by now that NARS is no longer considered a cruelty free brand. If you have been anywhere on social media beauty bloggers everywhere (including me) are freaking out about it. They’ve made the decision to sell in China which includes mandatory animal testing, which is really sad!

This beauty is not my picture! The owner’s blog: Click here!

But there is an upside, NARS has not entered the Chinese market yet (plan to sometime in 2017), which means we still have some time to convince them not to. And I get it, sometimes these big companies seem so untouchable. And they probably wouldn’t listen  if it was two or three people asking them to remain cruelty free. But if theres two or three thousand of us asking then maybe it would be a different story.

At first I felt so powerless and then I realized that I can actually do something, I have all of you guys! And all of you run blogs and can do something too! We can make such a huge difference together. Continue reading

Roundup of Things I’ve Gotten Recently!

Standard

Hello everyone! Welcome back to our blog! First we both want to say one huuuuuge thank you for 1,000 followers, that was an amazing milestone and we want to do a little Q and A for you all to get to know us better, so details on that will be coming, we’ll ask for questions soon!

Anyways, I’ve gotten a lot of new products lately, not only makeup but also skincare. I did a makeup swap with three friends and also went to the drugstore to pick up some stuff. Lets dive in to all of the things that I got and of course, I will review almost all of these products for you guys!

Makeup:

Lorac pro matte palette – This was from the swap! It’s amazing, I love the PRO eyeshadow formula so much. I am incredibly excited, I have been trying to find a good all matte palette for a while!

NYX liquid suede in Soft Spoken – This is so beautiful! These remind me of the Revlon HD matte lip colors, which is amazing because this is cruelty free and revlon is not. This shade is a super pretty browny nude.

NYX Lip Lingerie in Bedtime Flirt – This was so totally transferproof which I love, this shade is a pinkier nude and I know I’ll be getting a lot of wear out of it!

New Series? Opinions Needed!

Standard

During the summer Hailey and I have been thinking of starting a little series for our blog, and we would like to know what you think!

We know that most of the beauty gurus buy/receive products from name brands, and that these products are usually on the more expensive side of the spectrum.

What Hailey and I would like to do is go to these name brand stores (or order online) and find the cheapest product that they have and buy it, then do a review on it to see if it’s a steal (worth buying) or drop (not worth buying)

What do you all think??

Let us know down in the comments!!

Huge Entire Vanity Declutter

Standard

Hello guys and welcome back to our blog! I have been watching a lot of makeup declutters because they are so satisfying and was inspired to clean out my makeup, hair products, bath products, brushes, jewelry and nail polish, so here is a compilation of everything and the final numbers will be down at the bottom, if you want to skip there go ahead!

Makeup:

Eye makeup:

I never reach for the eyeshadow, mascara, or the Tarte fibers but their good products. I also never use liquid or gel liner really, so I got rid of those two. These pencils were all dried out and I have to repurchase the It cosmetics one. Continue reading
