Hello guys! Here is the second thing I wanted to review for you guys. I am so excited to share my review of this palette with you all. I got this for my birthday and I’ve been playing around with it a lot so here goes:


Overview:

  • 12 matte wet/dry shades that can be used as liner, shadow or brow powder

Promise: Each shade in this matte collection is a multitasker – from stay-put shadows that double as liner to brow powders that also work as shadows. And to make it even more versatile, each ultra-silky, richly pigmented shade can also be used wet for a more intense effect. (from Ulta Beauty)


I love that they double sized the base shades so that you won’r run out. Overall it seems like a lot of thought was put into the palette. They have made it so you can take just this one palette on a trip and be absolutely fine which is amazing. The shadows are buttery and soft and they also blend incredibly easy. There is hardly any pigmentation, but there is no powder kick up and they are super easy to work with because they blend so well and build up easily. I think this is a good neutral palette to have as a staple, and also there is no way you can mess up with it because it lacks the pigmentation. I think there is better products out there for the money so I don’t recommend this/

  • blends easily
  • Buttery shadows
  • shades have no kick up and don’t crease
  • very very versatile palette
  • beautiful everyday staple to have in your collection
  • can travel with just this because it also does liner and brows

Cons:

  • No pigmentation OH MY GOSH
  • it takes a lot of time to create an eye look with this!!
  • needs to be used in conjunction with another palette for some shimmer

  4. Hey love! That’s extremely disappointing with how much the palette is to have little to none pigmentation. Some of my favourite matte palettes are Too Faced Natural Matte Eyeshadow Palette, Tarte Tartlette Clay Matte Eyeshadow Palette, or Lorac PRO Matte Palette! Grace Noelle xx

      1. No, sorry. Most of the pallets I have are super cheap. I do have an IT Cosmetics one, but I only like a few colors. It stays on well and is very pigmented. BH Cosmetics has some good ones for cheap at Ulta. I got this Carley Bybel http://www.ulta.com/carli-bybel-14-color-eyeshadow-highlighter-palette?productId=xlsImpprod14301033 for $14.50. The IT pallet was the most expensive one I ever bought. I have blue eyes, so I look for ones that have the most brown shadows. Hope this helps.
