Hello guys! Welcome back to our blog! Today I want to talk about getting products for super cheap (still broke!) and what I have been loving at the drugstore. I have been obsessed with these LA colors Matte Lipsticks in the shades Tender and In Love (picked up another shade because I loved the formula!) I haven’t done one of these in a while and I apologize since I know some of you are always on the lookout for a bargain and love these kinds of posts!
Promise: Intense color, nourishing formula, and a soft matte finish (their website)
- price $2 (!!)
- cruelty free!
- satin/matte finish
I absolutely love these for everyday. Their pigmented and really pretty. They also don’t dry out your lips and are super long lasting! The two shades that I have are so gorgeous. The matte finish makes me love these because I hate drying liquid lipsticks but I like a matte finish and this fits my criteria perfectly for an everyday lip. I have been wearing one of these almost everyday for the whole month of May. For two dollars I think these are performing as well as my higher end matte lipsticks and they remind me so much of the Stila Convertible Colors.
- easy to apply (super smooth and pretty)
- doesn’t emphasize lip
- matte finish
- long wearing
- non drying
- cruelty free
- just a little more pigmented would be nice
Overall I really love these for the price and they seem like a new drugstore gem for me! They do what they promise! They are definitely worth the money and if you want a bargain then I would definitely head to the drugstore and get a couple shades. i actually want to go back and get some more because I absolutely love the formula.
Hello guys! So many of you find my little blogging tips mini series helpful that I decided to make another one. I always get such sweet comments on post like this so thank you all for that! Todays post will be do’s and dont’s of blogging (what not to do!)
Do edit your posts and don’t make typos
First and foremost editing! Editing will prevent the unprofessional typos that inevitably will occur. I sometimes have typos actually, trying to work on this!
Do Promote your post but don’t be annoying about it!
Promoting your new post on social media can be really valuable but don’t spam your followers feeds with it and go overly crazy to get views. Also in the comments of someone else’s post don’t shove your new post down their throat in efforts to get them to check it out, it is unprofessional.
Do take your own pictures (even if they aren’t amazing!) but Don’t use stock photos! Continue reading
Hello guys! I’m sure most of you already own this but I have been playing around with it and I really want to let you all know if it is worth the money in my opinion! I picked this up a week ago and so I’ve tried most of the shades and I am in love with it so far.
- Fourteen shades
- Three shimmer, eleven matte
- Cruelty Free!
- Price: $42
Promise: (from their website) Highly pigmented, easy-to-blend formula.
I am loving this palette to be honest. It is most definitely worth the hype that it received but that doesn’t mean it is perfect. It is so pigmented and the shades are super buttery. These blend so easily, I created a coppery red eye look in under two minutes. There is no sitting around blending out your crease for five minutes with this palette which I like because I get ready in twenty minutes every morning for school. The shimmer formula is soo smooth except for the shade Vermeer which is slightly chunkier than the two others but overall their beautiful. The pigmentation is insane. Because the palette is so beautiful as a whole, the small things that are subpa stand out. The shimmer shade Vermeer is slightly chunky but still goes on the eyes well and the shade Love Letter is chalkier than the rest and less pigmented but is better than the shades in some palettes i’ve tried.
Bottom row –
Top row –
- Smooth buttery shades
- the shimmer shades especially Primavera are stunning
- cruelty free
- blendability is so perfect
- you can create so many eye looks with this palette
- Love the shade selection
- The matte shades are
- all are pigmented and only one shade is slightly patchy
- two tiny issues with Love Letter and Vermeer
WORTH THE HYPE!
I absolutely love this palette overall and if you can afford the splurge then I really recommend buying this. There is hardly anything that I don’t love about this and I am super picky with palettes! I am so glad that this lived up to the hype around it and did not disappoint me!

Hello guys! I have a post that I’m super excited to share with you all! This weekend I got some fabulous cult classic products that I’ve been dying to try out. This is kind of a more mini haul since there is only six products, and all are cruelty free! These products are all so exciting I am in love with what I bought!
Charlotte Tilbury Eyes to Mesmerize shadow in the shade Veruschka –
This is a stunning cream to powder eyeshadow that turns into a gorgeous muted silver on the lid. It is so beautiful and I think it would be lovely for smokey eyes.
Charlotte Tilbury Color Chameleon eyeshadow stick in the shade Black Diamonds –
This is something I heard Zoe Sugg raving about! It looks perfect for creating simple eye looks. This shade is super glittery but not overdone and it also doesn’t seem black to me at all. More like a dark green toned silver which will look gorgeous on my brown eyes.
Urban decay naked skin concealer – Continue reading

Hello everyone! I’ve been going crazy with spring cleaning and I have been decluttering out the things I don’t use. I realized I have so many samples that I don’t use and a lot of products I hold on to for no reason! I recently did one of these so I will link it here for you guys to check out!
So let’s get into the decluttering:
After getting myself some really nice eyeshadow I realized that these baked Laura Geller eyeshadows (left) aren’t that pigmented, so I’m letting them go. The color sites mineral shadow on the bottom is really great formula wise but I don’t use those bright green and blue shades. The neutral dr haushka shadows are not something I reach for since I have so many neutral mattes. I also realized that I have all the shades from this lancome palette in my collection so I’m going to get rid of it.
The lash domination by bareMinerals is such a good mascara but I never reach for it because I love my Tarteist mascara more! I also never use my Loreal butterfly one and it isn’t cruelty free so out it goes.
Both of these are really old and I think it’s time to let them go! Aveda is also no longer cruelty free so I’ll let this pencil go in favor of my new becca eye pencil.
This powder foundation is three years old and smells gross so into the trash it goes!
Both of these glosses are not cruelty free and I have a clear butter London one I like more. And I never use the lipstick that I made even though they’re so pretty, so I’ll declutter them.
I love this neutrogena face wash but I don’t use it anymore because I have a cream cleanser I prefer more.
I actually never paint my nails, so I decided to get rid of these three which I never wear!
Most of these are foundation samples that are too dark. I also have dry skin so these blemish clearing juice beauty samples are being given to friends!
31 products decluttered
6 products that weren’t cruelty free!
Anyways that’s all I have for you guys and I hope that you enjoyed this post! Tell me if you are going to declutter and I hope I inspired you guys to spring clean!
