Morphe 12NB Palette Review and Swatches

Hey everyone! I feel like I haven’t done a review in a really long time but today I wanted to review something that I got for Christmas. I’ve gotten questions about this palette and the tarte one I also received, so after this review, the tarte Amazonian clay matte palette review will be coming soon! I hope you guys enjoy and I am loving this so far.

Overview:

  • 12 shades
  • 9 matte
  • 3 shimmer
  • Price point: $14.99 (so cheap!)

I’ve been using this lately for coppery plum smokey eyes and all sorts of things. I love that every shade in the palette is something incredibly wearable, and you can easily take this one palette on vacation and have all the shadows you need. The formula feels soft and really smooth so that’s a bonus. Something I find amazing is the quality of the shimmer shadows! Usually these can be chalky and sometimes not as good but these are stunning and are so smooth, no fallout and rich color payoff. I’m definitely loving those!

Swatches:Β

First Row!

Middle Row!

Third Row!

Pros:Β

  • Shimmer shadows are rich
  • Wearable shades
  • All but two of the shadows are smooth and non chalky!
  • Good color payoff
  • Easy to work with since they blend really easily
  • I had no fallout
  • Morphe says they are cruelty free πŸ™‚

Cons:

  • Lightest two shades aren’t as buttery as the rest
  • They also aren’t as pigmented as the rest

Now I really understand the hype around the Morphe shadows, these are excellent quality and I definitely do recommend them. Especially for the price, this is incredible!

I hope you guys enjoyed this post. If you did please click the like button and follow for new posts three times a week! I am so grateful to see so many of you all coming back to this blog it honestly means so much! Blogging had been a dream of mine and it is just so exciting that this is real life and I’m able to write to all of you!
