BellaPierre Glowing Palette Review and Swatches

Today I’m going to be talking about one of my favorite things in makeup, highlighters! I am nowhere near affording an Anastasia glow kit, although I would love to buy one, they are soooo gorgeous.So I got this palette which is supposedly considered a dupe, and is regularly high end but I found it at Marshalls for an incredible price.

Background on the company: I’m sure most of you have not heard of this brand, I did not know about it until I picked this up! Apparently, they are cruelty free, and use natural ingredients as much as they can. Bellapierre cosmetics was born in 2005, so they are fairly recent to the scene and have yet to surpass old favorites like Mac and Anastasia. They are a high end brand, every palette on their website costs $50.00 and an eyeliner is about $15. 

Promise:  these illuminator melt seamlessly into the skin and can be layered for a more dramatic look.

Look how shimmery and gorgeous these are! I love how this palette accommodates a large range of skin tones. The pink in the middle of this row (bottom one) comes off really matte, so I’ve been using it as a blush since it has a tiny bit of shimmer.

Pros: 

-shades are buttery and smooth, not chalky at all

-packaging is study and secure, with a good sized mirror

– these are incredibly build able, I love this palette!

– wide range of undertones and shades for multiple skin tones, universal palette

-glitter is not trashy looking, and is not an over spray, it goes throughout each highlight

-fairly large pan size

-cruelty free company

Cons: 

– Amorous is not as shimmery as the rest. I don’t know if it is supposed to be a blush shade, but it is super pretty as one.

-not transfer proof, and slides around a tiny bit during the day but nothing too bad

Overall if you happen to see this palette at a tjmaxx or Marshalls SNAP IT UP this feels so similar to the Anastasia glow kits! I love how build able each highlighter is and they are so pretty on the skin. I’m not lying when I say I wear this every single day! It is slowly replacing every other highlighter I own.
