Hello everyone! Welcome back to our blog! I hope you all are enjoying the holiday season, with Christmas coming soon, I’m incredibly excited. I created this look when going to see A Christmas Carol at a local theater, it was relatively formal so I decided to go for a slightly more dramatic look than usual. I’m happy to say that finding cruelty free products in my collection wasn’t a struggle at all!
Face makeup:
For my base, I used a Juice Beauty cc cream, it gives me a bit of coverage and evens out my skin tone nicely, with hydration. Then I set my face with bare minerals translucent powder, which I am loving! I mentioned it in my last favorites. For concealer, I used the lightest shade from this Ellen Tracy palette.
Contour blush and highlight:
My blush is Whisper peach by Laura Geller, it is absolutely stunning on fair skin, so if you are also like me and white as a ghost, I highly recommend! This bronzer is also from Laura Geller, it is a subtle and really natural contour shade. I’ve had this forever and never reached for it, but I’m in love guys, I will definitely be reaching for this on a daily basis. This highlighting palette is from bellápierre cosmetics, which I recently got, and wow it is stunning. I used the two lightest shades (white and lightest pink) for a glow that was pinky toned.
Eye makeup:
For my eye shadow I used the two matte Browns in the tarte quad. I mixed both to create a natural brown crease. Then I used the lightest shimmery shade in the urban decay palette under my browbone and inner corner. I used the second lightest shade in that palette, the more pink toned one all over my lid, and the shade Cover in my outer v. For brows I of course used my elf kit, I haven’t found anything I like more!
Mascara:
I used my two favorite mascaras of all time to finish off the look, Tarteist for volume and my lights camera lashes for length. I also used a physicians formula liquid eyeliner but it is not pictured (sorry!)
Lips:
First I went in with the Tarteist glossy lip paint, then used the butter London Lippy gloss to highlight the center of my lips since it is lighter.
I wore a sweater dress to the show, which turned out to be a great choice since it was so so cold before I got inside! I hope you guys enjoyed this post, the decision to use as many cruelty free products as possible is something I want you guys to make. in 2017 my personal goal is to use only cruelty free makeup products, but I have high hopes because so many brands are cruelty free now, even some like elf, who are super affordable.

I’m also trying to switch to all cruelty free products. It’s a challenge when you have favorites.
