Favorite Dark Lipsticks for Winter!

Hi everyone! Thanks for reading and welcome back to our blog! Today I’m going to be talking about four of my favorite darker lipsticks for the wintertime. These are a variety of finishes, matte, glossy and satin so there is certainly something for everyone. I just realized that literally every post I’ve done for the past month is about lipsticks, I’ll be mixing it up in a bit I promise!

Matte-

NYX Lip Cream in the shade She Devil –

NYX has some of my favorite lip products! this is a gorgeous deep plum shade, almost black. Its so stunning and not drying at all on your lips even though it is matte. For anyone who wants super dramatic dark lips I definitely recommend this! 

Satin:

ZuZu luxe lipstick in the shade 12D1 – 

this is a more brownish purple shade with a little bit of shine. I love that it is super moisturizing. If you are just getting into darker lipstick this is a great choice because it is super wearable and you can build the color to however deep you want. I’ve had this for about two years and it is so pretty! It made it past my decluttering and I do wear it often.

Glossy:

Butter London Lippy Liquid Lipstick in the shade Mulled Wine 

this is a gorgeous dark berry shade which I am loving. This is a gloss and it is actually such a great formula. Its not sticky and not drying at all, and it doesn’t bleed past your lip line. If you are looking for something glossy and a bit dramatic and bright then I definitely recommend this!

Too Faced melted chocolate in the shade Chocolate Cherries –

 Another recent favorite of mine! This is a deep brown which I think is super pretty and flattering on a lot of people. It doesn’t have a matte finish and definitely isn’t transfer proof but it isn’t drying or sticky, and is fairly long wearing. I think it’s incredibly wearable as well.  The applicator also makes it really quick and easy to apply and it makes you look sophisticated!
