Hello everyone! Thank you guys so much for all of your support, and I hope you guys enjoy this post. These products are all things i’ve been using constantly throughout the month of December and the winter season. I hope you all had an amazing holiday season and now it is time to start fresh in 2017!
Tarte Play with Clay quad –
I absolutely love the colors in this palette, their neutral and pigmented and you can create so many looks from this one quad. I also mentioned this in a huge Tarte haul ages back, here it is if you would like to check it out! There are two matte browns, one shimmer brown and an inner corner pink toned highlight, and i’ve been using this for eye looks so much lately.
It Cosmetics No Tug gel eyeliner –
Hello everyone! I hope you all had a great holiday and Merry christmas to all of you guys who celebrate it! I received some amazing gifts from friends and family and since they all know me very well, I got loads of new makeup. I’m so excited to try out everything for you all to see and give my honest reviews. Even though most of this is high end products, my focus on affordable beauty and discovering new brands will not change! I enjoy blogging about lesser known brands and showing something new, that you guys haven’t seen hyped up like crazy. Without further ado lets get right into it since this is going to be one long and chatty post!
Bobbi Brown Beauty Book –
I absolutely love all the shades in this for eyeshadow and the blush looks amazing. I am not in need of any lip gloss or mascara but I’m eager to try this out! Big thank you to the family friend who got this for me!
Tartelette Amazonian clay matte palette –
Possibly my favorite gift! I love the tartelette palettes and these matte shades are a little adventurous and purply toned, so I’m also super excited to try this out. Continue reading
Winter is a rough time for hair. It gets dried out quicker than you can say “oh snap”. If you’re like me, you HATE frizzy-ness. Its horrible! One moment your hair is silky and soft, and the second your step outside, its clinging onto your hair!
While doing some last minute Christmas shopping at Tj Max I came upon Nutrient-rich coconut oil dry oil mist. Now im a sucker for anything that smells like coconut. And this bottle. OMG it smells like hawaii is in it. Continue reading
Hello everyone! This weekend when I went Christmas shopping I ended up buying a few gifts for myself in the beauty section of Marshalls, and I finally purchased something from Milani, whose products I have heard so much about. Welcome back to our blog everyone who is returning, and welcome to everyone who is new here! Because it is now winter break, I have had a tremendous amount of time to blog and create posts, so there are a few exciting ones coming soon in January and for the rest of December! 😉
Absolute New York Icon Eyeshadow Palette in Twilight –
All of these shades are shimmery, which I wasn’t expecting, but I’m not complaining! I have so many matte and safe brown neutral shades that I decided having some blues and plum shades would be a gorgeous addition especially since I don’t have any fun out there colors. The brush that comes with this is actually amazing, I couldn’t resist trying it out and it is so so soft and quite high quality. This palette in total was only $6.99, so even if the palette turns out to be a total flop, I will definitely keep the brush, it rivals my It Brushes.
Hello everyone! Welcome back to our blog, if you are new here, welcome! And if you are a returner thank you so much for your support. Today I’m going to be talking about one of my favorite things in makeup, highlighters! I am nowhere near affording an Anastasia glow kit, although I would love to buy one, they are soooo gorgeous. So I got this palette which is supposedly considered a dupe, and is regularly high end but I found it at Marshalls for an incredible price.
Background on the company: I’m sure most of you have not heard of this brand, I did not know about it until I picked this up! Apparently, they are cruelty free, and use natural ingredients as much as they can. Bellapierre cosmetics was born in 2005, so they are fairly recent to the scene and have yet to surpass old favorites like Mac and Anastasia. They are a high end brand, every palette on their website costs $50.00 and an eyeliner is about $15. Continue reading
Hello everyone! Welcome back to our blog! I hope you all are enjoying the holiday season, with Christmas coming soon, I’m incredibly excited. I created this look when going to see A Christmas Carol at a local theater, it was relatively formal so I decided to go for a slightly more dramatic look than usual. I’m happy to say that finding cruelty free products in my collection wasn’t a struggle at all!
For my base, I used a Juice Beauty cc cream, it gives me a bit of coverage and evens out my skin tone nicely, with hydration. Then I set my face with bare minerals translucent powder, which I am loving! I mentioned it in my last favorites. For concealer, I used the lightest shade from this Ellen Tracy palette.
Contour blush and highlight: Continue reading
