Avocado hair mask

Okay, who doesn’t love avocados??  They are magical and taste totally amazing. Aside from their amazing taste, avocados can help with getting silky and smooth hair.  And let’s be honest,  who doesn’t want silky and smooth hair? Tons of people ask me how my hair is so soft and silky,  my answer to all of them is simple.  Avocados. Some people give me the oddest looks, but it’s true,  and I am ready to help you all get healthier, smoother, and silkier hair!
What you will need:

  • 1 whole avocado
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • A small bowl
  • A spoon

First you cut open the avocado and put the insides into your small bowl.

Next you mash up the avocado with your spoon until there are NO clumps.

After your avocado is clump-less , start by dropping 2 drops of extra virgin olive oil into the bowl and mix it with the  mashed up avacado. You don’t want this mask very liquidy at all!  The more drops of olive oil you do,  the greasier your hair will dry to.

Once you’ve mixed in the olive oil with your avocado. You will gently massage the mask into your hair,  start at your scalp and make your way to the tips of your hair

After you’ve massaged the mask into your hair,  let it sit for an hour. I sometimes go a little longer.  The longer you let it sit the better !

Once you’ve let it sit  for an hour or more in your hair,  wash it all out with cold or luke warm water.

Warning: if you do not wash this mask out VERY well, your hair will look greasy.

After washing out your mask,  I find I get a better result if I let my hair air dry out naturally.  If you have someplace to be use a blow dryer on the cold setting and on low.

Let me know down in the comments how this mask worked out for you!  Or if this mask seems interesting to you then like this post and follow this blog!

Ta-ta!
